Well for all our new signings, we've lost the last three. Not that I've been going so dunno how we played, especially today against Exeter, but we're now a massive ONE point above the drop zone.

Not great.

Today, didn't deserve to lose that. Had something like 22 shots. Just shit finishing. I don't think we will be worried too much.

On the other hand you conceded 3 goals against Carlisle?

Lovely to be back discussing the plight of our respective clubs.

Oxford and Mansfield still putting in strong claims along with ourselves to go down with Hartlepool after today.

Didn't deserve to lose today. Stupid defensive errors cost us today. Had about 6 off the line.

As above if we cut out the stupid defensive errors we'll be fine.

If we can score goals then we should be fine...think we've now scored once in seven games which is absolutely atrocious for a side down the bottom. Majority belief is that it's time for Burnett to go, and I'd agree as I have done for some time now! The two wins against Bury are probably the worst two things that could have happened, whilst I welcomed the three points, it kept a seemingly doomed regime going.

Daggers over both games are one of the worst sides I have seen this season. Saying that we all know that we tend to have the hoodoo over them!

Carlisle v Mansfield in a couple of weeks is shaping up to be a pretty big game for this thread.

We're bottom of the form table, only 3 points from the drop (albeit with a game in hand on some) and have Southend and Wycombe up next. We're in the shit!

I still for some reason think we'll be okay. We were beyond awful yesterday (not for the first time) but think we'll pull through to finish 19th or wherever

Have a feeling that most of us are so inconsistently bad that this could end up being one of those seasons where we're all still fighting on the last day. Which is always great fun.

We will not he going down. We are inconsistent but will comfortably be mid table. We are 13th Accrington are below us and not included. I actuallythink this week the bottom 2 have taken their places.

We don't have too much of a problem scoring goals, especially against Wimbledon... that's 7 past them this season. It's the unlikely event that they only scored one against us that caused them to lose.

I just forgot to include Accrington as I did this off the top of my head rather than consulted the league table. Still, I think Wimbledon are at a slight risk having lost the goals of Tubbs. I expect you to be fine by the way before any of you throw a tantrum.

Two defensive errors and a breakaway when pushing for an equaliser. Shouldn't have lost but the new players will take some time to gel.
Judging by the highlights it could have been another 4-4 based on the clear cut chances. Wouldn't argue if you said you should have won to be honest. I guess it makes up for the game up at Carlisle ;)

It's a good effort by Hartlepool to have 17 points and only scored 18 goal in mid-January!

Pretty sure we'll stay up. Our current form over the past six games we're averaging 1.83 points per game, if that continues for the rest of the season we'd finish with 64.43 which would put us eighth in last seasons table. Purely hypothetical of course but things are definitely looking up.

I'd love to think we will be steady enough to avoid this fate but it'll really depend who Wilcox gets in this month, otherwise we may be flirting with this trapdoor way too often.

Thank god we're not involved in this again as the last match of last season nearly killed me! I can't see how Hartlepool can avoid relegation this season i'm afraid. When the new owners came in the said there was money for new players so why havn't they brought any in besides a couple of loans?

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
Think that weekend finished Hartlepool, they needed to follow up their first win in a while and instead were stuffed and the 2 sides above them won, I know anything can happen and i've seen sides recover from their posistion, Brighton in 1997, Hull in 1999 and Torquay in 2006 (think i have years right) stick in my mind as clubs who probably were worse off than Hartlepool right no but all survived.

problem was of course i think in regards Brighton/Hull only 1 went down and better chance of escaping, plus pool just don't seem to be having this big influx of new players i expected.

big weekend for Carlisle i'd said more than any others, i think most expected Tranmere to win, but Carlisle nicking a big away win and most others dropping points was a big result for us.

we've certainly been turning it about away of late, won at morecambe, should have won at Newport and won at Wimbledon, at home is now where it needs worked on, I think atmosphere and nerves may be contributing to that form suffering so its much tougher to turn about.

but it could have been worse for us, our away form could still have been worse in the FL with our home form collapsing, so we turned the away form around at a vital time.

We are playing much better and the results can't be far away, but with Wycombe at home next week I can see us dropping into the bottom 2. As soon as we do aswell the panic buttons will be hit by our fans, if ever this club has needed the vocal backing of it's supporters it is now.

The last 2 games have been very impressive, we deserved a point away at Burton and bar 1 player having 2 moments of madness Saturday we would of had 3 this weekend. I don't see us getting anything from Wycombe but Carlisle away the week after is a must win.

Had the game on saturday been at Adams Park i'd have said you might get a draw but away from home we've lost only 1 league game all season. It will be a hard game but i think we'll nick it by 1 goal. I love Mansfield after the last game of last season at Bristol Rovers :woo: so good luck for the rest of the season and i realy hope you stay up.

I think we will be fine but unlike last season i'm not confident we can actually 'pull away' this time.

I think we should win but with Ronnie coming back I think he'll be up for this game more than any other.
