Says more about him than anybody else, Brother. Sounds like just another one of the slackers you have on your books and one of the reasons you are where you are:ds:

Now on loan at Hemel.

Sounds like he hasn’t settled in the North East and wanted to be closer to London.

It's a shame cos I like Niko, never got an honest shot as a striker for us, often got played as a wide man in a front three, he's a goal poacher for me, 6 yard box player that sticks it away.

Decent little loan move for him, back down home for Christmas and get some game time in, contract is up this season and I'd imagine unless something drastic happens he'll be on his way.

Somehow our game at home to Kettering has passed an inspection and is ON!

Only two wins since the 12th of October for us so vital we pick up the three points today. However it wont be easy as Kettering have picked up under Paul Cox and we lost the reverse fixture in September.

We've only 2 league wins since we murdered AFC Telford 3-1 at theirs on 14th September. We were scoring for fun but Telford came to us today and put 12 (inc ref) behind the ball and went home with a point. We are dropping like a stone.

Alfreton 0-2 Kettering

Fucking disgraceful. Classic Heath long ball shite. No plan no nothing. Abysmal.

5 straight home defeats. 4 straight defeats in all competitions. Somehow we are still 12th but heading in only one direction.

Sensed the atmosphere really turn toxic today and Billy seemed to throw caution to the wind and bring on two extra strikers for defenders with 20 minutes to go. Worried about his job I wonder?

Christ, Telford didn't come and just park the bus, they parked several of them.

Turgid first half but we did improve after the break and had more than enough chances which should have been buried. Absolute disgrace of a decision not to give us a penalty either, complete cock up from the ref not to give something so damn obvious.

Out of form and going to where we always love to save the worst of ourselves for next on Boxing Day.

Our first half performance against York today was the best I've seen in years. Should of least been 3-0 up at half-time. Absolutely tore them apart with a fantastic team performance.

Oh dear now we have to deal with <The Pride of County Durham...............

No way York are winning this league BTW. Kings Lynn will have it at a canter
They've got H&A vs BPA over Christmas - might get them back on track. Certainly their next 3 fixtures look much easier than King's Lynn's.

Our loanee from York (Wes York) has gone - presume recalled? Seemed an odd one to loan a player (who was in our 1st 11) to a somewhat distant (but closing) rival.

No Saturday home game since early October for us!
2 game rained off and away cup draws! Only played 2 home games in that time!
Need Kettering and Kings Lynn to be on or we're missing out on a rare league game payday

Alfreton look deep in the mire. Dont let our league position fool you

Only Bradford worse in the form guide over the last 10 games.

Seems to me its stick with Billy and hope Bradford and Blyth keep losing and hope we stay up by the skin of our teeth.

Or its time for a new manager with a different approach because on the very rare occasion we get the ball down on the deck we look decent.

Question is - is there the funds in the budget to back a new manager who is going to want to bring in his own players. Worryingly I am not sure there is!

Merry Christmas everyone

Draw was a completely fair result yesterday. We dominated the first half and Alty dominated the second. Great header from Milan for our goal and I missed the equaliser but apparently our weakness from set pieces was exploited again.

Another injury for us though as Ashley Chambers went off, we now have Ed Williams, Peniket, Weeks and Chambers all out so our squad is looking very thin again.

Chambers' injury meant we had to throw a 17 year old on at half time and I have to say I think we've got a great prospect with him. Bit raw but his footwork was great.

A few weeks into Jimmy Shane's reign and he seems to have steadied the ship overall. Signings needed now though.

God, York fans have a sense of entitlement don't they. The whining because they were beaten by a "part-time" team whose players are doing it as a "hobby"! Think they'd have a sense of

Don't tar us all with the same brush, we are in this league as we deserve to be, as does every other team. We havent played well for 2 months now, having a blip and cant see it ending for a while. Darlo looked excellent on saturday, very impressed with campbell, especially his goal but his miss was worth the entrance money alone

That's Campbell all over for you.

Capable of a ridiculous long range goal, but misses sitters and often doesn't get into goal scoring positions. That's the problem with square pegs and round holes, he's a talented player but he's not really a centre forward.

Saturday is first game I missed all season,it’s nothing to do with losing to you,it’s been the build up of a bad run or what I call the Curzon curse.Every year we get beat at Curzon and manager loses his job, this time unbeaten all season till play them, then lose 4 out of next 7 and totally blow the lead we had at top.
York will not win league it’s Kings lynn, at some point rest of league will realise this,I have never been confident we can not play on wet and boggy pitches, only saving grace is play offs will be played and fast dry pitches.

Lot better playing off a big man. Hopefully Reid will bring best out of him.

Southport 1-3 Chester.

They battered us today, and the scoreline is an injustice to them. We had too many players go missing or making stupid mistakes. Gary Roberts, as mad as he is, is too good a player for this league on his day and he made our midfield look like mugs as well as scoring an absolute rocket.

Altrincham away next. We've not won there in the league for 25 years (Luther Blissett scored a belter for us the last time we won there, that says it all). I haven't got my hopes up for it.

Hard fought win for us today against Spendy More, which should see the manager scuttling away for his cheque book.

Pathetic away following for a local match on Boxing day considering their considerable wealth and 13 match unbeaten run.

Darlo quietly getting their shit together for a 2nd half of the season play off push, three wins in a row now - v Chester, York and Spendy. We can't be all that bad, can we?

We changed things up a bit today, system wise, and it worked a treat. A rare Christmas win for us, at Southport as well where we’re usually rubbish.

Really happy with that. Absolute rocket from Roberts to seal it as well.

Hereford are the worst side I've seen this season by far. Absolutely woeful. They had 2 chances scored 1. Don't think they had any cb's on the pitch as 2 of our 3 goals came from crosses where not relatively tall players were left completely unmarked.

Even when we went down to 10 they didn't attack. I thought Slade was a bad appointment by them and its been proven. No shape, no ideas going forward.

Jimmy Shan has turned our team around though. We actually attack and it's so great to see.

One final word to Reece Styche who cupped his ear to Harriers fans at 2-1 down. Far to premature for the wind up merchant :fish:

Thoroughly deserved hard fought win as well, if they'd of equalized it would have been daylight robbery. Elliott had fuck all to do other than keep a cool head.

I think last season if i remember Brad put on free transport i think? I got a text saying they brought 280 today. Absolute piss poor on their behalf.

Quite frankly, It's frightening to think how good we are at the moment. Saying that we mustn't underestimate Blyth on Saturday.

Waltzed into the Spenny defense today and produced the goods. I'd like to see him to do this more often.
