Good side, got some impressive attacking players in their squad and a bit of nous and experience in other areas. I wouldn't be surprised at all if they went up, just think Scunny will do the business at home.

Brackley v Chorley is an interesting one, really hard to call. I think Scunny will have too much for Boston at home.

The whole upper tier is essentially condemned now so no-ones had it - only Charlton have had the whole lot (1608 away fans) so far, Wrexham didn't even break 1k for their trip here. Home crowds have been pretty good for the majority of the season really, I imagine somewhere in the region of...

Grays had some quality players to be fair - Aaron McLean, Michael Kightly, Freddie Eastwood stick out.

Probably the lower BMS plus a couple of Gordon Road blocks, so around 1300-1500 or so.

Quite right, nothing like the Mansfield conference years when *checks notes* Histon and Rushden & Diamonds made the play-offs.

Solihull might have rubbish facilities, but at least they can get home games on! Halifax have been defensively pretty good all season, didn't see a battering coming if I'm honest.

2024/25 Squads - KEEP/GET RID/BURN THEM AT THE STAKE, etc

I agree that those two are very much 'sing when you're winning' sort of players, but I'm hopeful we'll be doing more of that next season than anything else so that's when they become a useful option.

2024/25 Squads - KEEP/GET RID/BURN THEM AT THE STAKE, etc

Can't actually find a definitive list of who's in/out of contract, but of the current squad: Goalkeepers: Jake Turner - Signed a new deal back in the autumn, KEEP as backup Glenn Morris - Might be time to retire, so RELEASE Defenders: Max Ehmer - A regular for many years, gets a lot of stick...

Your best season in over 20 years, our 2nd worst in nearly 30 and you took a few more. Congrats!

    National League North 2023-24

I thought Curzon Ashton were appalling yesterday, never really looked like scoring against a Bishop's Stortford side who seemed intent on providing them with openings. If anything Stortford had the best chance of the game around the hour mark through Critchlow. Still, Curzon got what they needed...

Good replacement for Mansfield really, they're the same!

Wouldn't be surprised if none of the sides down the bottom won this weekend, they all have tricky games in their own way.

I fancy Blyth to drop - Buxton have nothing to play for against Farsley, whereas Brackley will want to confirm a 3rd placed finish against Blyth. Agree with Don that the play-offs will stay as they are, I think Curzon, Boston, South Shields and Spennymoor will all win their games.

I'd say next year looks like being an incredibly open league. Most, if not everyone, were fairly sure Stockport and Wrexham would wrap up two of the auto spots this season and it's worked out that way, but I don't think anyone really has any idea about next season. May encourage a few teams to...

For me Chesterfield have got a solid enough first XI but not a huge deal of depth. A front 4 of Grigg, Dobra, Jacobs and Mandeville is pretty decent, and Naylor in midfield is a Rolls-Royce this season. Past that, I quite like Berry but he's mainly been a sub this season, Colclough has barely...

    National League North 2023-24

Boston looked very nervy last night, much of the second half was played with a 'do not concede' mantra despite having a lot of the ball. Fair enough as 1-0s are absolutely fine, but with Banbury being as poor a side as I've seen at Step 2 this season (including Stortford!) there was scope to...
