Oh and I won't be around at the deadline so if teams want to post up what they've done then go ahead as I won't be posting until after the football is done.

We've gone for all three outcomes in Poland v Iceland and Lewandowski to score.

Four horses tomorrow: Blaklion, Audacious Plan, Herbert Park, Which One Is Which.

I just went all £7 on a Bosnia win. Fancied them to beat Ireland. Just stoppage time to go but looking like I've lost. Worth a gamble.

Would have also won the game for us.

Sadly didn't happen. This is going to the wire. 2 huge races coming up for Gretzky. If they don't pick up points, as we both have money on Hamilton it will be enough to see us home I think.

I'll post the results from this round and final standings tomorrow but as you can tell, Kahn have managed to succeed in winning the event as a whole so well done to them! I don't think anyone would have begrudged Gretzky winning either as it really was an impressive battle for the last few weeks. As Veggie said about the task in the week, he thought they'd been reasonably quick and to be honest he was right...which goes to show how well the two top teams did...I thought most teams would take until Thursday perhaps! But the standard was so high - Kournikova probably lost a few members towards the end but were still very good and Veggie was in the top five individual players for sure IMO so thanks to him, Lee, Oaf and Paul Haddock for all at times trying to keep their teams going even when out of the running - I appreciate it's not always easy to find the time even when things are going well for you.

I realise it got a bit repetitive towards the end but I really struggled for ideas tbh as I don't have the creative brain of LR and it's tricky coming up with a challenging, unique and interesting task which can't really involve cheating. So yeah, it didn't go quite as well as I'd hoped on that front - and those wanting cycling, it was just unfortunate as that was going to be the week of the crypic clues farce so we didn't do anything that weekend

So yeah, basically thanks for playing...it is satisfying seeing people working together on things you've come up with and it is appreciated even small amounts of effort or even small amounts of intention to make an effort.

So here's to Team Kahn - who I have to say were a very, very good team and that's what won them it essentially. Good numbers throughout and good contributions from all sides really!

Thanks Magic. A very enjoyable game, even if my team were a load of rubbish:lol:

But then, as soon as I saw Joex4 was in it, it was doomed really.......:shifty:

Thanks for running this Magic, it's been thoroughly enjoyable to take part in. Everyone knows I'm competitive as hell, and I don't like not winning. A great team effort won it for us though, with all making winning contributions at some point.

Well played and commiserations to Gretzky who pushed us right to the very wire, neither team could hold onto 1st place until this last few weeks.

Thanks also to the other teams, especially Veggie and Kournikova who kept this very competitive.

Again, thanks Magic, It's been great.

Thanks a lot for hosting Magic, a very good concept. Will remember it for making Channel 4 Racing on a Saturday exciting. Well done Kahn, very worthy winners.

Congrats to Kahn, deserved victory over the course of the whole game.

Thanks for running it Magic, it's a superb concept and even though things didn't always go as planned it was still a great game.

I was thinking the other day about the potential of running a Euro 2016 Grandstand if Magic doesn't mind me nicking his baby that is. I have a few ideas for it.

Course not. I just thought the concept of bringing together forum games with prediction league style competitions was worth a crack. If I had time on my hands to come up with some really great games I'd try it again sometime but as people know, it can be time consuming so I'll take a back seat for a while now!

Thanks guys, glad you enjoyed it anyway [emoji1]
