Blitzed BPA for ten minutes after the break and that was all that was needed.

First start for Asante for nearly two months and scores a worldy. He's still a goal a game for us. 21 goals in 21 apps in the league.

The Telegraph and Argus says Asante's goal took a massive deflection. I've watched it half an dozen times on Deva Chat and it took no deflection. A typical Asante finish ~~ brilliant.

York 1-0 Alfreton.

Very poor game yesterday. Not impressed by York to be honest. We should have been put to the sword but battled hard to keep it down to one.

Clear no cup run has meant their is no budget whatsoever. Its going to be a grim battle to the end to get enough points together to stay off relegation. Seems to be a lot of apathy at the club at the moment.

Really could do with finding a way of defeating Blyth on Tuesday.
We only played well for 20 mins in first half and should of finished game off.
2 nd half was awful,we certainly are not firing on all cylinders.
Who is your keeper,he is a total liability.

Our keeper Jack Atkinson is a whole lot better than the alternative young kid from Hull who is awful!

We hardly played him and when we did he looked poor.

I would imagine he'll have been out of his comfort zone and this is his level at Telford.
You also had Tyrone O'Neill from Middlesbrough on loan. I liked him he's come on leaps and bounds after a successful loan with us. Woodgate recalled him back.

Finally some player movement at Alfreton.
We have somehow made Gainsborough Trinity pay a fee for Dec Bacon and have brought in Danny Preston on a 1 month loan from Nottingham Forest.

To be fair it was the Bradford Manager they were quoting who also said the first goal was miles offside, Tv replays have proved that he was wrong on both counts, I think he was trying to make out they were robbed but they got what they deserved nothing.

Quite a coup in the capture of former West Bromwich Albion manager Jimmy Shan by Kidderminster Harriers

Former manager is quite a step. He took charge of 12 games last season nearly leading them to Wembley. Happy with the appointment but we still need to sign some players as our squad is still paper-thin.

Not sure if this should be in tin pot.
York have agreed to get dressed in the dark because no electricity in changing rooms, they have also been warming up in a field behind ground,
Pitch is horrendous can’t stand up on one side of ground, the joys?

Boston fans conducting themselves fantastically as the cheer when one of our players goes down injured and is forced off

We were poor today and second best, didn’t deserve anything. Had the chances to get back in to it in the second half perhaps but didn’t take them, second goal was a howler from our keeper as well.

Jackson was our only outlet and tried but once we fell behind it was always going to be difficult to break them down.

Like a bit of needle in a game and can laugh off most things, I’m not precious, but didn’t like some of the abuse Jonno got. Home fans properly got stuck in and I know there is history but the lads banging on the dugout and screaming in his face at the barriers went too far.

It's been going on for years now with Jonno. It's getting a bit boring now like with the same old crew hanging round the dugouts. Even worse the abuse at Heritage Park in his Salford day's.

Had a bit of banter with him at HP. All in all in his defence he's a down to earth guy really.

It can be annoying at times as having got to know him better he’s actually one of the most down to earth, honest and genuine guys I’ve come across. His ethics are brilliant.

He’s shouty but you learn that he’s not 'nasty' shouty if you know what I mean. At the end of the day he gives it out so has to take it back. Sort of bloke you’d love to have on your side but love to hate if he’s against you.

We were pretty decent today had a few chances to put the game to bed in the second half.
A bit like the Telford game last Saturday we were 2-0 up at half-time, only this time unlike last week we came out and played some decent football after the interval.

Still you had one or two chances to get back into the game in the second half. I think we did a great job keeping Asante quite most of the afternoon.

I honestly didn't expect the game going ahead in the second half.

Gateshead 3-1 Alfreton

Tough times for us at the moment. Injuries have killed us. A damning indictment on the quality of this league that we are still in the top half in 11th really after 1 win in 9.

Billy didnt hold back after the game and gave a good interview. Under no illusions at how big the next games are at home to Gloucester on Saturday and Kettering the week after. Season defining. Lose though and I really begin to worry.

I like Jonno to be honest. I didn't hear too much abuse of him though - all I heard was a few songs from the tin shed, which I took to be banter.

If people were getting in his face at the dug outs and screaming abuse, then that's out of order.

Welcome to our world lol.
I understand the power went off and the fault was found and fixed.
It is not a field but a training pitch, but i understand the confusion!!!!
You may be surprised to know that the pitch is actually the best it has been since we have been at Latimer Park!!!!

Good contest between Leamington and Spennymoor. Brakes scored inside a minute (always a danger to score too early on!) but Spennymoor scored 2 cracking goals to go in front. Spennymoor definitely the better side and skied their penalty in the second half which should've been game over. You know how this goes...Leamington get a penalty of their own and score. 2-2, Leamington could've nicked it but still unbeaten in 6 games.

I see Niko Muir knocked back the chance to go on loan to Darlo, he'd rather sit on the bench with us and not play :fl:

It looked like school football pitches and feel sorry for you if you train there, also what’s with the fences missing ,could you just walk round and get free entry, must admit great for having a piss during game.

Another Saturday off for us thanks to Farsley going through in the trophy. God knows how many Saturdays we've missed this season.

It happened to us last season (11 free Saturdays) and I think it was a contributory factor in us not making the play-offs.

On a rough count I think we're up to 7/8 we've missed already. And we've not hit the postponements of January yet. Probably won't reach 11 but still far too many already

Says more about him than anybody else, Brother. Sounds like just another one of the slackers you have on your books and one of the reasons you are where you are:ds:
