I'm still here George but most have gone to the 'other' forum now.
That's a pity -- But good to see you have stayed. That other forum in my opinion was very good at one stage but in recent years totally deteriated. Bet they will be back at some time.

Seems like the higher up the pyramid you are, the deader the forum gets.

There hasn't been any willy waving on the Away Supporters thread for nearly 3 weeks.

You going to Millwall?

Just moved to London and I plan on seeing all the London teams whilst living here. Was thinking of going to Millwall Vs Brum on Wednesday, but just happened to see that on Saturday you're at The Den!

Might pop along, will be interesting to see how depressingly big the gap is

I'm laughing, but really I'm crying :ffs:

Sorry Gassy, been really busy. I hope you're well.
I didn't go but watched it on robins TV.
Thought we were a little better, than we have been lately, in the first half but back to abjectly shite in the 2nd.
If you went, I would be interested in your thoughts, if you can take those blue tinted specs off. ;)

You must have been bad recently then mate! Here’s my summary from the other forum:

Interesting game today. City started well but they fizzled out after 15 minutes. Definitely a point gained for City and 2 dropped for Millwall, but ultimately it's hard to say Millwall deserved to win when they lack anything in front of goal. Millwall were in control of the game I'd say, but just didn't threaten enough.

I see what a few city fans were saying before to me with Johnson now. IMO there is some serious talent in that squad, but they have absolutely no idea how to play as a team. Millwall are the complete opposite where they have a real lack of talent/skill but they give 110% and really work together well.

I was listening to radio Bristol on the train back to hear how shite Rovers could have possibly been, only to hear Lee say "fantastic performance". F*ck me, is he having a laugh?

Yet somehow, city move a point closer to the play offs. Unreal.

Ref generally I thought was all in City's favour, not sure how they didn't get booked. Penalty incident did look a handball, but I think it was more ball to hand - although hard to see from the other end. Also looked like there was a handball that should have gone to Millwall as well earlier in the half?

Good entertainment overall though. Millwall look like a league 1 team who're just well polished and do all the basics right.

Sounds like Ipswich Town under Paul Lambert.

Absolutely spot on Gassy. If we can see it and a visiting rovers fan can see it, why on earth can't our CEO, Chairman etc etc? does my bonce in!

Ciderup as you have no mates to talk to anymore thought i'd pop on and ask you what is happening with the manager situation. Cannot believe the banners put up yesterday saying they want Holden out before he's even appointed. My Red mates cannot believe what is going on.

Wow, it's like a ghost town here!

Shame as it used to be a great forum, full of fellow City fans, and a good place to take a break from OTIB. Guess I'm as much to blame as anyone else though, as haven't been here for ages.

Anyway, I've got a sneaky feeling that we may have a good season this year, and have a better squad than most City fans give us credit for. So we may see a few coming back here again to crow a bit. (bloody glory hunters! :) )

Think you have made some good moves. Obviously we know all about Naismith but I like the Sykes and Smith signings too especially the latter who was a standout player last season in league 2.

Smith? I assume you mean Kane Wilson, and yes he looks a class act from what he's shown in pre season

Amazed Nigel Pearson is still in a job. Whatever he had at Leicester, he's clearly lost it.

Yeah sorry that is who I meant! Got my Kanes confused, with Kane Smith who was an ex youth team fullback with us who has signed for Stevenage this summer!

I must admit that the jury is definitely still out for me with regards to Pearson.

For most of his time here I just couldn't see anything to justify the hype. However, there are signs that he just might be starting to get things right, so time will tell.

Definitely needs to improve his appalling win ratio though!
