Bale is unfortunate in many respects, he can't be at his best with Ronaldo in the same team it seems and Ronaldo is better so he's the main man.

Bale has been a lot better this half though, I know he's missed two chances but been involed far more than Ronaldo or Hernandez have. I don't like Real Madrid but would like to see Bale score.

He's a much better player than Walcott, his final season in the PL was fantastic and his numbers at Madrid are actually pretty impressive despite the constant stick he seems to get.
Any decent attacking player would post good numbers at a place like that with those players around him. Walcott would post similar numbers I'd be certain on that.

Walcott has also never had a season like the one Bale had in England (for a lesser side too) either. I don't think Walcott is a particularly poor player but he's not on Bale's level.

Do you honestly think he's a £80 mill player though?

Bale is a very good player and his price tag put extra pressure on him. The fact that he doesn't justify Madrid paying 80 million for him doesn't make him a bad player.
I didn't say he was a bad player though mate just not better than someone like Walcott who is good but not top class. The fee was ludicrous.

Anyway congrats Juve been saying it for some time now it could be their year again 30 years after Heysel.

Well, Juve proved me wrong. Well done to them, their game management was excellent and as much as RM tried they just couldn't penetrate the collective defensive unit that Juve are.

I always knew Juventus had the quality to win however I wasn't that convinced with the way they were winning their games in Serie A. Congrats to Juventus.

I still don't have an opinion on Allegri. I need to see how he does in his second season however I HAVE to credit the work he's done this season.

YES! The final that I wanted to see. I hope that Barca win the final but I wouldn't mind it if Juve won. Didn't expect both teams to do this well in the Champions League this year.

Bale at least didn't hide, he was still trying to get on the ball. Where was Ronaldo second half, I hardly noticed him at all.
The shot of him going down the tunnel after the final whistle is the only proof that he even came out for the second half.
