Replaces Johnston I assume which is ironic as Mooney was on loan last year at,... Chester !

He scored some worldies early doors, but defenders soon learnt that he was one-footed and could deal with him. Should be okay though under Parkinson, who is probably the best manager in this league.

We've signed Swansea Youth Internatiinal defender Brandon Cooper on loan til the end of the season. He's made a 1st team appearance for them and is regularly on the bench. The Swansea fans are surprised he's gone out on loan and say he'll be the best defender below the Championship, so i'm expecting great things from him.

One of those signings you get now and then in this league which is really surprising - he tore us apart for Crewe in League Two a couple of years ago.

I don’t know what you did to Charles Vernam when he was there but he’s come back like a man possessed, one of our top players game after game for the last month or so and currently playing at a level way too good for League 2.

Charles was outstanding and enjoyed his time with us, had he stayed we would be half way up the table now, glad he has continued used his excellent form, hopefully will encourage Grimsby to loan us other players. Cant wait to see Kiwomya in action as he seems to be well thought of.

He was at chorley for a couple of seasons prior to this one, sorry but he is crap, nowhere near NLN level, probably ok 2 divisions down. The lad tries hard but is crap.

Was our standout performer last year. We've managed to get by with the current back three but I've always been nervous about our cover, as shown in the recent Dover and Barnet games.

Glad we've got some more-than-able cover, although he has hardly played this year due to an early injury. Doubt he will go straight into the side.

Easily our best player over the past two seasons, and unlucky to be a victim of Salford's crazy spending - our gain though! The absolute perfect signing for this squad.

We've got Ade Azeez on loan from Newport for the rest of the season. We had him on loan back in 2013 when he looked half decent (and became out 1,000th player since we joined the league).

Been out injured all season so no idea how it'll turn out this time.
