Apparently the last remaining L2 club gets £250,000. Or shared equally if more than one.

Come on Cardiff....

How can there be more than one last remaining L2 club?
Come on dude, think about it.

If your lot progress via a replay, then it'll just be you and Northampton in R4. If one goes through and the other goes out, then the team that gets to R5 gets the money. If you both go out in R4, the money is split 50/50.

Or, if you lose to Cardiff, Northampton collect the money. Easy innit? ;)

(Not) Surprised and disappointed that we weren't higher up the running order for MotD. They obviously weren't expecting much having to use the local commentator(s).
Great comment though after our third, "Absolutely rubbish ent it?" :brill:

Not been on all weekend but what a great day. The fact that we equalised rather than a consolation at 6-0 down was an amazing 7 minutes !!
Randolph sorry to hear about the awful situation you found yourselves in but hopefully light at the end of the tunnel and a speedy recovery.
Great to see other teams fans wishing you well too and that's why football is so great.

Unbelievable draws for the two L2 teams in the hat.

Reading/Blackpool v Carlisle/Cardiff
Northampton v Derby

So if we beat Cardiff (which we will) we'll either have a Biscuit derby against a verb or a winnable game against a League One side. Tantalising!

We might have a sniff at being on the TV, 7 games from the fourth round were on last year

You shithouses Northampton.
How dare you beat us fairly and squarely on our own patch and deny us the chance to play our nearest and dearest.

Well Barnsley got Portsmouth away, so apart from the cash we didn't miss out on much.

Our replay is gonna be on the Wednesday. Presumably because Cardiff are playing Swansea on the Sunday this weekend.

Here's hoping for a fiery South Wales Derby with a few sendings off.

We'll already know which out of Reading or Blackpool we'll face. I'd prefer Blackpool but then Cardiff might take the replay more seriously if they knew a league one side was laying in wait, they might think they have a clear path to the 5th round.

Good luck Cobblers. A winnable game IMO. And to Cardiff as well cos they sure are gonna need it, it's going to be tough up at Brunton Park.

Obviously didn't go to Shortwood then, the Everton of Nailsworth. remember them giving Vale a proper fright.

Remember watching that live on Sky , sure it was a Monday night. Comfortable 4-0 win in the end but they had a real good go .

The Grimsby game was 2 amazing defensive displays from both teams that would of put an Italian team to shame, 0-0 and 1-0 with some majestic defensive players on display :bl:

PS Who the hell was Manny Panther ? never ever heard of that player.

Manny Panther? Midfielder wasn't he, bit of a dirty bastard. Scottish played for Grimsby, Morecambe and such.

I just checked up the Grimsby games as they were permanently erased from my mind. He played both games for Grimsby, can definitely say i have never heard the name. Certainly a name that sticks out but clearly it's an age thing from me

Not seen that announced. I don't get the fact Spurs are on seeing as they are at home, doesn't come across that Boro have much chance now.
Also Man City Fulham is a strange choice for the 4th round.

They pick the teams that will get the biggest viewership I suppose. Pretty boring watching a Prem side pasting a Championship side at home though imo.

He was on loan from somewhere but can’t remember where, I remember he had one cleared off the line at your place straight from the kick off, and that was about the only attack we had all game!

Grimsby had some good names in recent years. Manny Panther, Toto Nsiala, John-Paul Kamudimba Kalala, Richard Brodie.....
