They rode the wave of disaffected Blackpool supporters for a few years but now that's over they've been left stranded, high and dry on the wrong beach, with no way off except the way they came in. You can smell the decay already. The fans who were only along for the ride are already looking to hitch rides elsewhere, the 2 or 3 hundred (yeah, I'm being generous, I know) who support the club from the heart will be swept away with the carcass, all the way back to the North West Counties, when the tide comes back in again for them. :ds:

Oi gobshite we average 15 hundred. We're in the bottom 4. You as love to tell us are a ex football league club and you get 500 more. Barrow another ex league club, top of the league get 300 more so let's not wave our willies about eh. We're not notts county or wrexham.

We're a small club as are massivefax and Barrow

Dover just played like any away team. Notts Co’s fault for hardly looking like scoring.
You're a class above the Solihull I watched over Christmas, worked hard and deserved your point but the ref could have played 15 extra minutes, the time wasting was excessive and blatant.

And you still wouldn't have scored

Looked like a bit of a petulant kick out by Murphy on Anderson as the ball comes over the top?

Watched it back a few times and I could see it viewed that way too. In the BT highlights Holt said the same.

If this was a one off I might be willing to give Murphy the benefit of the doubt, however, we have the worst disciplinary record in the division and this is the fourth straight red in the past 9 games with the last 3 all for kicking out at players in tussles for possession. It's all well and good saying they're accidental clashes, but if they're being picked up by the referees and the FA are happy with the decisions (as Omotayo and Collins appeals were turned down), Sarll needs to stop blaming the officials and amend our tactics.

What a strange report form the Hartlepool Mail. Salty to say the least.

https://www.hartlepoolmail.co.uk/sp...her-two-points-dropped-dave-challinor-1369608

Local journalists don't tend to be balanced where ever you live to be fair. The officials made the decision to postpone the FA Cup tie, not Yeovil. Speaking as a member of those so-called home fans that made the atmosphere 'toxic', a number of the decisions by the referee and linos were bemusing, and in accumulation became extremely frustrating. I'd agree the booing of Kioso was stupid though, and it's not difficult to communicate to opposition staff and players if there's issues with the power.

I heard it was a six bar extension WITH a surge protector on it, Mark Maguire was raging, stormed off and told Raj, not in the budget for another!!!

Obviously a good player Murphy but the lad must be thick as fuck, it’s alright having a bit of needle during the game but that sending off was totally pointless and cost you 2 points, if we weren’t so wasteful in front of goal still we’d of took all three.

I can only speak from the commentary I listened to but the crowd around the press box were whinging like fuck every time we got a free kick, it was almost seething rage at some points, I know, most refs down here are clueless, we’ve had our share but it sounded like people in that stand were on the verge of an aneurysm.

If that is in fact true and a surge protector was safely fitted, then this is an abomination. Where I live, you know what they do to thieves....and quite right too. I'll be using my contacts, they cannot get away with this.

It was toxic. Reminded me of a typical home game before the NWC elite came into being.

What did they need the power for? Was it for banging pre-match tunes or to perfect their neatly coiffured barnets after the match?

Ironically it was the only time that afternoon that we managed to keep hold of a lead.

To watch videos on how to get Rhys Murphy sent off, obviously.

It’s still nowhere near as bad as WHAT GUISELEY DID.

I disagree. This is the biggest controversy since Guiselehhhhh did what they did.

only seen the highlights from Hartlepool of the Murphy sending off and it does look like he took a cheeky kick at (ex-Barrow player) Myles Anderson.... Will Yeovil appeal? - because if they do and it's not overturned he could end up with a 4 game ban instead of 3....
