How Easy Was The Ground to Get To (from the station, by car, etc)
The ground is very well signposted as soon as you leave the M1.

If Applicable, How is Parking Near The Ground?
For a ground on a retail park, it was very good, as they have two little fields and wasteground nearby that are set up for use as car parks, that dont take long at all after getting out and have loads of spaces.

Based on Where You Were Sat, How Was the View?
Ive sat behind both goals (visited once as an away fan when Coventry were groundsharing) and while both stands are quite shallow, the view is unobscured.

How Were The Stewards on The Day?
No problem

If You Ate at The Ground, How Would You Rate the Food?
Decent pies.

How Was The Atmosphere At The Ground, From Both Sets of Supporters? Does the Stadium Hold the Noise?
Surprisingly good. One of very few grounds Ive been to as well where it was coming from all over, and not just one little pocket of fans.

How Are the Pubs and Local Attractions in The Local Area?
Usual retail park stuff, though they do have a Chinese buffet! Big pub on the retail park too.

Overall Score Out of 10?
Its a bit small and basic, but not that bad.
7/10

I absolutely can't stand this ground. Situated in a bleak retail park, about 20 minutes walk through business parks from the railway station. The away end is a pathetic little toy town stand with very little legroom, a shallow rake, no elevation and little shelter from the roof. They also seem to run out of programmes very quickly.
I'd give this ground 3/10.

If you're going by train, be prepared for a half an hour walk or to pay for a cab. Between seven of us at the weekend a cab from the station cost £7.20, so that's your going rate more or less. The walk is mainly down a long road called Edgar Mobbs Way, you can't miss the ground, it's at the end of the road on your right hand side. You also pass the rugby stadium on this trip.

If Applicable, How is Parking Near The Ground?
Loads of parking, it's out of town. Modern football is great, right?

Based on Where You Were Sat, How Was the View?
Despite it being a horrific identikit stadium, the view is very good. Totally unobstructed, all seated and you get a pretty good view of the entire pitch, although the opposite end is somewhat harder to see obviously as it's 100 yards away.

How Were The Stewards on The Day?
Stewards were fine - guy operating the turnstiles on the way in was singing Daydream Believer with me, what's not to love?

If You Ate at The Ground, How Would You Rate the Food?
I've been to Northampton four times, and I've learnt that you should not buy food at Sixfields. It's extremely overpriced and pies aside, not worth the money. KFC, Frankie & Benny's et al in the leisure complex outside the ground - eat there.

How Was The Atmosphere At The Ground, From Both Sets of Supporters? Does the Stadium Hold the Noise?
Stadium doesn't really hold the noise anymore largely due to the ongoing construction project that is the West Stand, when the billionaire Indian investors complete their takeover (or pull out altogether), it'll be completed and feel more like a stadium again. Most atmosphere you get is from a group of kids in the corner of the East Stand who try to give it to the away fans and have a drum - it's not particularly intimidating.

How Are the Pubs and Local Attractions in The Local Area?
If you want pubs you're better off sticking to the town centre, a 5 minute walk from the station and a 35 minute walk from the ground. There's a number of pubs here, including Wetherspoons which you're more likely to frequent. At the ground there's only one recognised pub nearby, the Sixfields Tavern, although we spent a bit of time in the Northampton clubhouse pre-match which was pretty welcoming and fairly priced compared against pubs in the town. Leisure complex surrounding the ground so food and things like that are easy to come by, and hey, you can even catch a flick before the match if you're that way inclined (hopefully you're not that way inclined, I mean if you are, why are you even going to watch football?)

Overall Score Out of 10?
Essentially I only go to Northampton because it's local and it's a tenner return from Euston. Any identikit ground half a mile out of town with a leisure complex surrounding it just isn't football.

3/10.
