Babestation is a well-known adult brand in the UK, and many people will have a perception of
what the company is like, and how it may be to work there. However, one of the stars of the
naughty TV channel and website has gone public to claim that it is nothing like most people
would think.

Kiwi babe Beth Bennett has been a fixture on Babestation for over 12 years and said that
people usually think she is simply objectified for her body by the channel’s mostly male
customers. However, the 37-year-old New Zealander claimed that this was often not the case,
and shared a story about a specific customer of the channel to demonstrate.

Shortly after Beth first moved to the UK and started working with Babestation, she was called by
a chap called Andy. Said Beth: “Andy started calling me and he had recently got divorced and
you could tell he was a bit lonely. He was very chatty and would call during the day sometimes
when it was clean chat and sometimes at night when it was dirty chat and he would webcam
and everything.”

Over a number of years, the online chatting continued, and Andy found a trusting ear in Beth,
even confiding in her that he was thinking about trying out online dating, which Beth
enthusiastically encouraged.

Caller Andy found a girlfriend, and told Beth all about how the relationship was not perfect and
didn’t seem to be working out. Beth said:
“So he broke up and got a new girlfriend and he was much more enthused and then one day he
called and said ‘I am going to tell you that I am deleting my accounts’ and it was just so sweet.
Obviously you are losing a good caller but it worked out for him.

“He had Babestation for a few years where it filled a void and everything and now he has moved
on and I believe they are engaged or married now because I had him as a Facebook friend. So
it worked out nicely for him. I like things like that where you build a real human relationship and
friendship with people.”

She continued: “I like when people have called up and they remembered things from other
conversations and they have remembered things you like. “Everyone wants to see it as they don’t really see us as people, people want to see it that you are being treated like sex objects, you are just there for purpose and they then slam the phone down the second they are done but that is not what it is like.

“You are friends with them essentially and you know things about them and they know things

Even though her dedicated caller Andy has moved onto other things, Beth says she still has
some regular callers she has been chatting to for over 10 years!

When she was younger, Beth actually wanted to become a police officer, a very different career
path than where she ended up! However, her work took a naughtier turn, when her Mum, of all
people, encouraged her to apply for a job as a dancer, without even realising it!

This experience of a more glamorous profession stood Beth in good stead once she came to
the UK for a 2-year overseas experience. She saw Babestation on TV one night, applied to join,
and has been there ever since then!
