pretty much what everyone else has already said - very good 1st half and could/should have been 2-0 or 3-0 up, but Wrexham played a lot better 2nd half and we got worse... but still created chances.
In Hooper Wrexham actually have a striker this season who looks like he'll get more than 6 goals - probably by the end of September....
One special final word for the referee though - how on earth can you referee at this level when you don't know or implement the new rules - players being substituted have to leave the pitch by the nearest point you moron - let's hope the assessor does know the rules and gives you a mark accordingly and you're banished from this league forever.

This league is like getting a new job at a place you didn't realise was as shit as it is. You start and all the existing employees are talking about the various intricities of the hell hole, and you kind of ignore them; it can't be that bad right? Drama Queens. Then you start to realise they're right, so you try and look for a new job but it soon comes to light that your career is fucked by association and you're sucked in. Like it or not. You've now got to sit with the rest of the moaners and become one of them. So, welcome Notts.

Tbh our game was pretty much a rerun of every game we played in League Two last season.

In fairness he gave you 67 mins of added on time at the end to make up for it. I've literally only just got home.

Sutton players walked to Tibet and back before going off the pitch today.

If you're getting beat at home by us playing a flat 442 with 3CMs in midfield and a centre back on the wing, it's not a good sign.

You looked well short of quality today - suspect you will need some reinforcements soon to avoid getting into a battle down at the bottom.
We were the better team and created the better chances but I agree we weren’t great and need reinforcements.

We are desperate for some pace, power and skill in our attacking play, particularly in wide areas.

Dover still remain unbeaten by Chesterfield, after three efforts of trying to beat us, The first half was dominated by Dover who squandered 3 or 4 real good chances in the first half, which by half time should have had this put to bed, The second half was a different matter and Chesterfield gain the upper hand and a fantastic double save by Worgs prevented them for taking the lead, the goalless scoreline look very fragile and after the full back presented the ball to the Chestefield forward and bang 1-0 , it was coming, But a clever double sub by Hessis changing the Dover shape and in the last 10 mins two pinpoint crosses landing on Alfie Pavey's head Crash Bank Wallop 2-1 too early to say much, other than I don't expect Dover to be in the bottom 4 in November like last season

The ref was god awful. He also allowed play to continue while Carrington was down with a head injury, and the free kick for your goal wasn't a foul.

If that was Carrington that was down on the edge of the box after a corner, then the ref (like all of us) will have seen him take a dive.

Also, the foul that led to your first goal wasn't a foul either, just a collision, and our defender got booked for it.

Funny how everyone sees it differently, but the ref was shit.

Disagree. Thought they played well and deserved the win

I know they had 10 men but I’d be worried as an Ebbsfleet fan.

It appears (Goddard aside) that height and how much of a unit you are were more important criteria for Hill than actual ability to play football.

be amazed if it's anything but relegation for Ebbsfleet. Budget on all areas slashed to the bear minimum, not been paying the players, owner completely dis-interested but still wants to keep hold of them because of the potential projects in the area that could make him a multi-billionaire.

We had more shots, more possession, more corners, more clear chances, and for long periods, particularly in the first half, we controlled the game so not sure how you thought they were the better side?

When BT brought out Devonshire for an interview they showed him a montage of ‘Stockport chances’ because apart from the goal they didn’t have anything to show from the away side.

Hooper is the best thing we’ve had up front for years.
Grant is looking more like the player we thought we had signed.
Now hopefully we can try and get Tollitt in on loan to add to those 2 and we will look very exciting up top.

If JJ Hooper can be arsed he should tear this league apart, when he’s actually trying he’s brilliant, unfortunately with him once you stop winning or he goes a few games without a goal is when his half arsed attitude appears.
Hopefully Wrexham keep winning and then you’ll have a real diamond on your hands.

That’s a proper non-league start for a ex FL club isn’t it?

Two sent off against the bin men and a steady 1-0 loss.

Welcome to hell.
We did the opposite, out first game was away at Crawley with Fatty Evans and all of their cash and we beat them 1-0. And then easy as that, just 6 years later we were promoted. :bg:

Yep, our next 2 games were home to York and Hayes and Yeading, drew 0-0 with York and lost 2-1 to Hayes and Yeading, that’s the game where the reality of non league hit me like a sack of shit!

Good win for part-time Woking. Hopefully we continue to set-piece teams to death.

Scrappy game between us and Dagenham yesterday. Neither teams created too much. And yes Quigley kneeing a chance wide from 6 yards was hilarious.

Set piece FC with our defence consisting of Diarra (6’5) Cook (6’5) Parry (6’4) and Gerring (6’3).
