That coupled with the fact that we also managed to lose to Stevenage, yes I’d have to agree.
Excellent. If you could just confirm this over in the L2 forum then we can stop worrying about it.

Good keeper from what i saw of him on the first game of the season. Calm and assured and caught everything that came into the box

Sorry I’ve had a change of heart, we also won at Exeter which kept Devon Lad away from here for a few extra weeks and for this public service alone we now no longer deserve relegating. Sorry.

Signed Alex Reid who seemed to be one of Ebbsfleet’s shining lights. Could be worse, could be better. If it helps us stay up, I’ll take it

Kay should do a good job, dont think he has had a club though since leaving us as was on trial with Bury in the summer. Best position in midfield in the holding role... we used him rarely in defence and he wasn't good enough there but did a job in a poor Vale side as the defensive midfielder... scores a few too (usually stunners!)

Agree, I’m a bit underwhelmed with Archer. When I heard a striker from Port Vale I was thinking it would be Cullen or Bennett.

Tranmere fans on twitter seem to speak very highly of Clarke though so fingers crossed he’ll be big upgrade at lb.

From the sounds of Gannon’s interview after the defeat on Tuesday, there are a few more positions he wants to upgrade and maybe we’ll see some old favourites return as a sign of intent now the takeover is through.

Not in a position to loan out Cullen or Bennett, both feature regularly (usually of the bench) and Pope could be facing a ban shortly.

Archer looked immense when he came on for his debut, scoring against L1 Shrewsbury in the Leasing but bust his shoulder days later and hasn't really got back in the side since. Loan should do him good and seemed to have something about him but was struggling to get in ahead of our more experienced trio up front.

We've signed Daniel Jarvis, a 21 year old from Stoke City.

A little concerned that we are looking at making our bid for survival on the back of some very young players. But they can't do any worse than our existing players.

Strangely enough it can work opposite to how you expect. When we somehow stayed up in 17/18 it was young loan players who were contributing more than contracted players and without the performances of some of them we would have gone down easily.

Hopefully they will come in wanting to make their mark. Discussions on the Oatcake seem to suggest that people rated Jarvis and the other lad ha dpreviously done well in the SPL, so fingers crossed.

Getting players in who can cope physically at this level is a different ball game though isn't it.

I mean it literally is at Solihull.

The most positive thing I can tell you about Harry Cardwell is that he works hard and he comes across as a really nice guy.
But Charles Vernam he most certainly ain’t.

Pools have sold Nicke Kabamba to Kilmarnock for an undisclosed fee, deal too good to turn down according to Pools,.

No big loss for us, goal scoring record had been poor, misses too many chances.

Shadrach Ogie has joined on loan from League Two Leyton Orient
Much like Ruel Soitiriou he is a young player we have high hopes for, we're all a bit suprised he's not been called upon more often this season as a left back with Joe Widdowson being injured.

He's a bit of a beast, can play LB or CB - The few times he's played LB for us he's looked capable, strong and quick for a big man and delivers a good cross.

Can only think our staff don't think he's ready for a long run in the team, he had a bad game away at Wimbledon in the Leasing trophy and wasn't featured since sadly, plus I think we're gonna bring another full back in anyway with experience.

He'll be expected to push on with us next season for sure.

Aye strange one, took everyone here by surprise, he’s hardly prolific , leaves us with only Niko Muir and he struggled to score on loan at Hemel.

He'll be one of the best players up there, that's how bad Scottish football is.

The oracle, aka Liam Noble, has just come on Twitter to say Kabamba wouldn’t get in his U10s side. Now we could argue that Noble plays for Morpeth fucking Town but he’s got a point, he’s not that good. But we’ve had worse.

Slightly odd timing now we have no strikers left, but hopefully we’re doing it to get someone better in and not that Singh has forced his hand bearing in mind his contract’s up in June.
