Not one of our happy hunting grounds. Last 2 visits, both Tuesday evenings, we should have won but managed to lose both. One of them they were on a dreadful run - much like at the moment.

We should have enough but not too confident.

Interesting as last season you played us on a Saturday and you shouldn’t have won. A draw maybe, but you were not the better team over 90 mins imho

I don't know why, but I have a feeling we'll be rusty on Saturday. Grimsby to sneak it, 2-1

Gotta be a win for us .....away from home we are playing some great football. The town will be raring to go after a 2 week break, which was handy coming up to the heckric Christmas period
With Isgrove back to full fitness again , Wellens has another option for midfield.
Going for a good win, 3-1, with the ginger Pele keeping up his scoring record. Could be as much as 600 travelling town supporters in a crowd of 3500.

We won’t have fewer than 3000 home fans there, not on a Saturday.

Nah can’t agree with that bud, the 3-2 win two seasons ago we were by far the better side, Dembele was unplayable that night.

Is there a bigger one man team than Swindon right now? They are totally screwed if they lose Doyle in January or to a long term injury at any stage.

Yeah, sure! Bit of straw clutching, eh!

Spectacularly shite half from Grimsby, nothing going forward and dodgy at the back. Surely they can’t be that bad in the second half.

Haha i wouldn’t be too sure, our last 2 games we’ve been good first half then garbage second, maybe today will be the reverse.

I doubt it though.

Been busy so this is the first game I've not watched this season, looks like I've not missed much.

Though when I saw Whitehouse, Clifton, Green and Vernam all starting I wasn't expecting much!

I presume that you are on a wind-up/fishing trip? I wouldn't say we are "totally screwed" if we lose Doyle. Don't forget we have Jerry Yates who has 10 goals who can step up to the plate. Keshi Anderson who was in great form before he got injured can potentially slot into where Yates currently plays.

I think our midfield is probably where we tick at the moment. Lydon, Doughty and Grant is a good shout as the best midfield in the league, or it would have been had Vale not taken all the 'best..... in the league' slots. It will be interesting to see who gets our assists this season, I think we share them around. Yes Doyle gets the attention, but its churlish to say we're a one man team.

It’s what keeps us apart from the no man teams.

Anyway, we’ll see how the cards fall in January - and I ain’t losing any sleep over the outcome.

I got told that the first goal was bad from McKeown and I’ve just watched it and fuck me they weren’t lying. :lac:
