Anyone else announced their pre-season schedules yet? We've announced 5 fixtures, all pretty standard stuff.

Confirmed Pre-Season Friendlies

Kidsgrove Athletic A Mon 11 July 2016, 7:30pm
Wolverhampton Wanderers H Fri 15 July 2016, 7:45pm
Nantwich Town A Tue 19 July 2016, 7:30pm
Altrincham FC A Tue 26 July 2016, 7:45pm
Kirby Muxloe A Mon 1 August 2016, TBC

Only surprising thing is that so many of them are late kick offs during the week. No weekend games as yet. We'll probably have 3-4 more, take us up to 8-9. All in all, pretty dull. Anyone else got a more interesting pre-season?

None announced yet for us (Cambridge). Tonbridge Angels wanted to organise one with us, but we won't play teams lower than the confrence south apparently.

All business this year. Hard graft training camp in Ireland bit different to last year's bonding holiday in the sun

Kirby Muxloe v Crewe seems the most random match possible.

(Presuming it's the Kirby Muxloe right next to Leicester)
It is and it is. Went there last season as they opened a new stand(only about 50 seats mind), nice enough ground in a pleasant area.

We have added Aldershot away who are managed by ex manager Gary Waddock, should be fun. :box: He'll get so much abuse deservedly so as he hadn't got a clue.

Although this could change with new ownership/new manager. Notts County will play at my club Long Eaton United at some point in July.

I disagree with that. He certainly signed some garbage players (lots of Aldershot rejects), and some of the games in our relegation season from L1 were dire beyond belief, but he has 2 promotions to his name, which is 2 more than many managers.

And under him we got relegated twice. His man management was crap as well especially when it came to Kevin Betsy who was one of our better players but Waddock forced him out. Ask Oxford fans what they think of him,in the play offs when he took over then they lost 9 out of 10 games i think it was.

We've got a week in Holland where we play a "top 8 Dutch side", Truro away, Torquay away and West Brom at home.

Woking away for us on the 19th July, to go with the 3 we already had.

Amazing scenes, last season we had to wait until the start of June before we annouced any at all.

Yeah they were moved from my clubs MFL division at the end of 2014/15 season as they were the furthest south in the league (which is predominantly West Midlands teams). They were gutted but seemed to have faired better this season in the United Counties League.
An ok setup which on a warm sunny day has benches and seating area around the clubhouse so you can drink your pints in plastic pint pots on a patio area :)

Went last season. Nice leafy ground, easy to get to. Had a very pleasant evening.

Very true! Not a great place to be when you lose 3-1 on a freezing cold winter afternoon though:sad:

We've announced some.

Saturday, July 9 v East Grinstead Town (a), 3pm
Tuesday, July 12 v Three Bridges (a), 7.45pm
Tuesday July 19 v Worthing (at Three Bridges FC), 7.45pm
Saturday July 23 v Millwall (h), 3pm
Tuesday, July 26 v Lewes (a), 7.45pm

At least with Lewes (pronounced Lewis for those that don't know) we get to visit the wonderfully named ground. The Dripping Pan. Something to do with a mine in the days of yore.

Lewes complained when Brighton built the new stadium because it's minutes from their ground. Three Bridges is actually an area within Crawley and East Grinstead is the next town over towards Kent so we ain't travelling far at all.

Oh for Barbados away.

Been to the dripping pan with the Stags for a league game. Unusually ground with a massive grass bank/cliff down one side of the ground.

We're looking at playing Middlesbrough and Sunderland, as well as the usual local fixtures and some more competitive games against League One or Championship teams I'd imagine.

Pretty boring line up for us. Burton, Bristol Rovers & a Cardiff XI at home. Couple of Cornwall sides away. Not even given a trip to Torquay this year:lac:

We've announced our schedule today:

A couple more away friendlies to be added too

Tue 12th July - v Bamber Bridge (A)
Sat 16th July - mini tournament v Blackburn & Bury (H)
Tue 19th July - v Burnley (H)
Sat 23rd July - TBC (A)
Tue 26th July - v Preston (H)
Sat 30th July - v Liverpool XI (H)

Pretty chuffed with the home games all in all. Blackburn and Bury both visiting on the 16th July sounds a decent day, Burnley travelled well when they were last here 3 years ago. PNE are well supported in the town and with a Liverpool XI you never quite know what you will get.
