Im just glad they can't move the final days fixtures for TV. We're at home to Yeovil which could be very tasty and I'd hate for our TV form to be a factor.

Not sure if we've dipped below a 100 away following in this league before (remember 90 odd at Bristol City a few years back on a night which was on tele) but we are now absolutely nailed on.

Bollocks, I thought we'd got away without playing on tv again.

Only one National League club — Boreham Wood — has an average attendance of less than 1,000 this season, while some of the wages on offer would probably amaze football supporters in other countries. One National League striker is said to be picking up £2,800 a week. Barrow, who are run by local businessmen, pay nothing like that much. The average weekly salary is about £750.

Yet Barrow are doing much more than playing attractive football. Despite having a bottom-six budget, they are top of the table, unbeaten since October and on course to return to the Football League for the first time in almost half a century, ever since they lost their place in a manner that still fuels anger and resentment in these parts.

That striker could be one of ours to be honest.

There's no shame in spending the big money if you're spending it well.

Look at Notts County, Fylde, Dagenham and Hartlepool as examples of it not going so well.

Doubt anyone we signed this year is on close to that, but Dennis and Boldewijn will be I would’ve thought.

It was Danny Rowe - the article was published before he moved.

Though Jon Stead is said to be on something close to that!

On the one hand, County are historically awful on t'telly... but a 5.30 kickoff makes it a much more interesting game for me

I bet he's delighted to swap that for not getting paid at Oldham

I suspect that's why they scheduled the match for a Wednesday in the first place, to fit in with BT's schedule.

We must be raking it in from all these TV appearances...

Jonathan Stead at Harrogate is reported to be on a fair whack, wouldn't be surprised if that was him. Why else would he choose the buttered scone capital of the world in preference to town that gave the world the gibbet. :dk:
