Well, we're certainly giving it a go with two new signings already, but I really don't get why we've signed two midfielders when it's our defence that's the problem. Saying that, we also need another striker to come in given Pukki's injury and Srbeny's departure; it may just be a little bit too soon for Idah, though he's going to be a good player in the future.

I'm writing tuesday off but the run of fixtures after that will determine wether we can maintain a challenge at the side of wolves, spurs, arsenal, man utd. Cracking point today, deserved too.

If chelsea/Leicester hold on to a champions league spot which I think they may just be good enough to do,I fancy wolves to finish 5th now this year. They have got a bit of much earned rest due coming up with being out the cup and the extra week off in feb. Also after thursday, the same as us they will have played city and liverpool twice ( not that it was an issue for them anyway). I also fancy them to possibly go all the way in the europa league too. Man utd should get 6th they seem a bit more consistent than spurs.

Love your optimism on us mate but I think we'll just fall short. We're 1/2 injuries away from really being in the shit. Our first XI is brilliant and I can't give them enough praise, problem is if we get a couple of injuries we're calling up 17/18 year olds who aren't at the same level. If we can sign a couple of good players in the next 2 weeks (a CM and a striker) then I think we'll be up there with yourselves fighting for 5th. What a season we're both having though.

We wont challenge 5th I dont think but it's been a wonderful 1st season back either way. Imo you are better than man utd and spurs, you didnt and dont get outplayed like man u just have at anfield.
