Second game moved today, Boro at home 12:30 kickoff on the 31st August.

Brilliant for me as I’m missing the game, going to a day at Newton races instead but fuck me I feel sorry for Boro fans.

Bit confused by this.

Thought all midweek games were on red button anyway, this seems to suggest that both PNE vs Stoke and Charlton vs Forest are main games on 21st August, is that right?

Yep. There was a few times last season Sky showed 2 games on the same night. One was on Sky Sports football and the other on one of the other sports channels

Typical that probably the one time we get on the TV is a night when we would have been on anyway.

Can't be right that. Leeds only on once in a whole month?

Both of Cardiff's matches against Reading will be on Sky.

They’ll be on red button and their game against Salford is also on, panic over.
Plus they're on opening weekend against us. So only 3 times in the first 6 days of the season, how will people cope on the odd days out?

Think it was a selection of 6 or 7 or so last season.

Just with the same one-camera set-up they use for the highlights though so the quality's not exactly all that

Sky released their latest bunch of fixtures.

We’re on Saturday 5th October at Fulham. Delighted with that. Away that weekend and was gutted to be missing that one so at least still get to see it.

So one of the most entertaining sides in the league right now gets zero games...

Colour me shocked, our 0-0 draw at home to Reading has been chosen.

Almost every season they show it and every season it is a dull game. No idea why every season Sky show at least one of the fixtures between us.

Sheffield Wednesday and Cardiff home games moved forward for Sky.

Every single November home game is a lunchtime kick off on Sky.

Massive club. Fuck Sky.

Fulham vs QPR is now the Friday night game in November. Not unhappy with this as a Friday night out there will make for a good atmosphere.

Is Fulham v QPR considered a derby? I know Chelsea v QPR is a bit more lively.

Yeah it is but it isn't hostile.

I've said it before but the West London 'derby' is strange as no one really reciprocates the hate.

Fulham hate us, we don't hate them.
Brentford hate us, we slightly hate them.
QPR hate Chelsea, they don't care about us.
Fulham and Brentford don't hate each other.
Fulham hate Chelsea.

Where we are playing Fulham and Brentford more, they are turning into rivalries. I would say more so with Brentford than Fulham.

None of us have ever really spent a long time in the same division to develop true hatred.

The last 5-6 seasons have been the longest that 3 clubs in the area have played each other regularly (barring a couple of one season Premier League stays). I probably would consider QPR the closest rivals to us even if they don't see it the same way, whilst Brentford have been desperate to develop a rivalry with us and I'm not really bothered by them.
