Just bought a holiday home in Torquay. It's a two-up three-down (Stolen from our forum!)

Woking 2-0 down at home to Torquay - guess we'll be heading to Kingfield again next season then.

Woking obviously got a nose bleed from being so close, 2-0 down already

The Woking Galacticos are choking again? Surely not?

Where to start? We were absolute dogshit in the first half. Arthur had a shocker and was all over the place, passed the ball to the opposition about 5 times, out of position and they had two easy goals within 20 minutes. Even though we were playing shit, we still.managed to hit the post 3 times, how all of those didn't go in I'll never know. Garry clearly bollocked them at half time, we came out all guns blazing and after the 2nd it was inevitable really, all sloppy goals but I don't really care, 3 points and a huge confidence boost. Torquay looked pretty lost when we started to put pressure on them, lots of aimless hoofing but in fairness their front 2 caused a constant threat. Great turnout from their fans as well, must have been about 100 odd, fantastic effort given the distance and the way they're playing.
Roll on Saturday, COYC!

Huge win for Diamonds, but we really need to stop going a goal down to start playing!

2-1 with the goal machine that is Brad Harris getting both. In the last two games he's scored 3 goals, one shy of his total in the previous 100+ games!

Really tough match, delighted to come out of it with 3 points, and pushing towards promotion, and dare I say it... a title... maybe.

Tremendous grasp of lexicon, I'm in absolute awe.

Would've been a tragedy, losing to a team on an average of £375/week, no?

Lincoln lol. lololololololololololol. :fl:

The play-off race is starting to hot up now, 2 points separating ourselves Woking and Eastleigh. Halifax and Gateshead are both dropping off the pace and I wouldn't be surprised if it turns into a 3 (or 4 if Macc keep dropping) way fight.

We have to refind some form quickly.

I think Hargeaves took the opportunity to point out a figure when it was probably at the low end, based only on the players on the pitch (implication from context of that quote).

Am I the only one who thinks £375/week is a fair wage for a conference full time player?... (Just shy of £20k assuming 52 week contracts)

Can you imagine the scenes if we finish 2nd and Woking sneak into 5th?

Reinforced goal nets and riot police complete with water cannon, rubber bullets and tear gas on standby.

I said this to someone the other day. Barnet would have to be on FULL LOCKDOWN to try and handle the Red and White INVASION. :woot:

 Whatever raises your self-esteem chief.

Seriously though, if you're lot could do us a favour on Saturday that'd be nice. I'm not expecting much, in respect of Lincoln being shit. :fl:

Wilkin has his excuses out the bag at 5pm on Saturday in his post-match interview.

If only Woking had not dropped 6 points to 'the worst Grimsby side ever' they would now be in the play-offs, instead of their fans wanking themselves off at still being 1 point outside them!

Well one thing is for sure. This is far from over! We were absolutely dire last night. A yard off the pace all the game and we perhaps understandably looked jaded. It was poorest game I have seen for many a year. We didnt even begin to look like scoring till the final 10 minutes when Tom Shaw almost repeated his trick from Saturday but for a final save from the GK. It was Dartford who could have won it but for a superb last ditch clearance off the line from Harris.

Dartford can feel aggrieved they didnt come home with all 3 points.

Bitterly dissapointed. Opportunity missed for sure and you would never have though a win would take us 8 clear of Welling the way we started. Its another clean sheet I suppose but we looked like our old selves at the back.

If Halifax could please halt the Nuneaton train on Saturday that would be much appriecated.

Thye one advantage we do have over Nuneaton is they are the only team we have a better GD than.

We have lost our nack of winning dire games which was bound to happen at some point. Furthermore Nuneaton have a favourable run in too and are not conceding goals. Think its going down to the wire guys.

Oh and thanks but no thanks Wrexham. You could still play a integral part as we have to Visit the Racecourse while you Visit Welling too.

A fluke yet to be achieved by your pointless little club, despite the countless millions "invested" in it by your weirdo/pikey owner. :£

Says the fan of a club who can barely scrape 1000 against a play-off rival, and fellow play-off team from last season. Talk about pointless club, your support is nowhere near good enough for a prospective/wannabe football league club.

Even we've been getting 1300+ in our recent home games, against the likes of Telford, Braintree and Southport.

Is that on a Tuesday night?
Because sub 1000 against Eastleigh and Woking suggests attendances isn't a good target for you when Halifax have managed at least 1k all season..

I think your upturn in sttendances is more to do with your fans now feeling a lot safer driving to your ground, knowing they no longer need to worry about having their cars smashed into by a pissed up ginger prick.

In his defence though, he is a fucking top bloke.........

Those were both early in the season, both over 950 and Eastleigh was just 2 days after our home FA Cup tie with Scunthorpe. I can guarantee that if we'd been playing either of those 2 at home yesterday, the crowd would have been at least 1200, probably more.

Given the apparent lack of interest in the club, surely it's a clear indication that Halifax isn't ready to host a football league club, despite B2TF's delusions of grandeur?

Entry to league 2 doesn't appear to be based on the amount of interest in a club. As Accrington having been showing for some time.

Well what a shambles we really are.

This season can fuck right off.

edit: we're getting joked about by Woking fans. Woking. Jesus wept.

Could be worse....you could have some of your fan-base regarding them as your rivals.
