I only seem to be able to access the forum on Wi-fi. Whenever I try it on mobile data, it just simply doesn't load. Any suggestions?

Does it reference redirect errors? If so, our firewall is being a little too eager to block connections ATM.

I'm looking into it, and I've just flushed the firewall, so can you try again and let me know if you can access now?

No errors, it's just stuck loading as if was taking ages to load the page.

Still nothing unfortunately. It's not too much of an issue, just means I can't access out and about is all.

Server is creaking a little in recent days due to load, it's probably relating to that.
I'll liase with the hosting company tonight and see if there's something we can do.

If you could do me a favour and let me know if/when the site comes back up for you on mobile I'd appreciate it.

Can't visit the site at my college on WiFi. First page loads slighty okay, second page takes a little longer with no CSS and the third page just doesn't load at all and gives an error.

I had an issue where my home wifi blocked us out for a few days, ended up talking to BT who managed to fix it.

If you bookmark onefootballforum, can you all please update your bookmarks to NOT include www. as we have now redirected all www. queries to non www. and this may be causing an issue (it was causing more of an issue before we did this!). It may not be the blame, but that would be your first point of call.

The website has also been under intense load in recent days as traffic spikes for the end of season. In all likelyhood we will be based with a further server upgrade this summer which will ensure we don't face similar issues during peak periods in the 16/17 season.

We're aware of ongoing issues with server crashes and slow response times, as a result we've disabled a few features of the forum temporarily such as the users online list on the forums homepage. We're currently in discussions with the host to try and minimise these issues and we also plan to move to a larger hosting setup after Euro 2016.

Yeah, my hub blocked me out of the site at one point before a hard reset of it. Very odd.

Was on Sky at the time, if that's any help. (Switched to PlusNet yesterday)

You contribute a heck of a lot to the slowdown with that pile of pish Flat Earth thread. I think TB should look into locking that thread and limiting the amount of messages you can post a week ;)

Have we all updated our bookmarks to make sure none of us are permanently trying to access the www. version?

I've just flushed the firewall so hopefully everybody now has access.

Site still kicks me off every now and again, prompting a router reset. I'm on plusnet, so it doesn't add up with the other people (person?) who have been struggling with Virgin Media. It's the third time it's happened to me now.

I don't suppose you happen to know your way around your routers' config page Jase?

I do. What info you after?

Would be interested in seeing if there was any difference between the DNS server(s) your router is pointing at when 1FF fails just before you reset the router, compared with after you reset the router and 1FF is alive again.

It sounds something like one of your ISP's DNS servers has 1FF addressed correctly, and another DNS server has 1FF addressed wrong, and the reset points you at the working one again. Weird.

Potentially, all I get for DNS settings on there is this:

DNS.png

And Dynamic DNS is off.

It could potentially be the secondary DNS that is fucking up the site? I'm not that clued up on this stuff though.

Hmm, well a quick look at PlusNet's DNS here:
https://www.whatsmydns.net/dns/uk/plusnet.html
and:
https://dnschecker.org/dns/United-Kingdom/PlusNet

Both suggest different primary/secondary settings to what you've got. But presumably your router is only picking up the settings it's told to get by PlusNet.

Maybe worth a punt in manually entering the primary and secondary addresses suggested above and seeing if that is any more stable. Could always put it back to auto if you weren't happy or had any problems.

Leave Dynamic DNS off that's not relevant.

Since early this afternoon I've been unable to access the site through my home WiFi. It's seems to work on mobile data. Can someone have a look into it pls.

I've reset the router and that. Made no difference.

I've had this issue as well, i'm using the site unblock everything to access the forum but it seems to remove the shoutbox feature and any kind of drop down menus.

Same for me, couldn't access via home computer, just through mobile, and even that was super slow.

I've just tried to clear my cache and then reset my router. Doing this got me back onto the site on WiFi but as soon as I clicked on something it went back off again :(

Yup. It appears you've blocked my ip again too. Currently using a VPN (useful things ain't they?), did send a message through contact us too.
