Knew Rhodes would score wish I'd put a few quid on it now.

Give it some to the kop big time too, backfired in the end, sounded a good game by all accounts with both teams going for it. More easy chances missed by us, striker needed so much, fair play to Billy though you just know the lad will bag double figures for you, definitely a great man to have in the squad.

Sounds like you didn’t go, are you on holiday?

It was an entertaining game. We started on the front foot and deservedly went 1-0 up, we continued to dominate and you couldn’t see Norwich scoring, then out of the blue Rhodes scores. Their goal seemed to knock our confidence and Norwich looked the better team in the last 10 minutes of the 1st half.

Wasn’t feeling confident about the 2nd half but again we came out of the blocks well and created loads of half chances, had a few goal mouth scrambles that were cleared.
Norwich didn’t attack much but they had 2 excellent chances in the 2nd half where they should have scored. Ironically not much happened the last 5 to 10 minutes as Norwich kept possession and slowed the game down.

On 90 minutes I’d accepted that it was going to be a dissapointimg 1-1 in a game we probably deserved to win. We played pretty well though, created quite a lot of half chances and our new player Oliver Norwood looked real class, very similiar style and standard to Coutts at his best.

Then in injury time we break on Norwich and Sharp heads in from close range. Bramall Lane erupts because last season we seemed to concede loads of late goals so it was fantastic to see us score at the death for the first time in ages.

From what I saw both SU and Norwich should finish in the top half but neither looked good enough for top 6. Early days though.

Give over.....you’re a Blades loyalist.
You’ve either emigrated, in prison or in bad health.
If you’re being serious. then hope you’re OK.

Oh well, suppose things could be worse.
The main news for Blades is that new signing Norwood looks a huge upgrade on Lee Evans.
He takes the corners and we finally now look dangerous.

Very good signing, so is egan, and the goalie is heading towards fan favourite status as well, personally I'd play stearman instead of bash too. Duffy is class, Woodburn a good option and coutts to return, Still desperately need a striker though imo. Can't see us being top 6 material but we have a steady side and who knows a good striker might make all the difference.
