Signing a defender from a Harrogate side whose defence conceded over 60 goals in last year’s campaign doesn’t sound like a title-challenging move to me.

We’ve signed ex-Swindon midfielder James Dunne. Seeing that we already have a lot of central midfielders in our inventory, this suggests that one of Adams, Elito or Harry Taylor are leaving.

Saidou Khan has signed for us from Tooting & Mitcham.

He's apparently looked very good in training & played well against Dagenham the other day so its no surprise that hes been signed.

He was in Tooting's first team as a youth player about 5 years ago and reputedly had League clubs looking at him. I saw him one for Tooting at Whyteleafe when he was 17 or 18 and he looked a prospect but somehow it never happened for him. He ended up drifting around just about every South London area club in the Isthmian League for short spells: Dulwich (just one or two games in the minor cups), Carshalton, Chipstead, I think there were others, before ending up back at Tooting.

Apparently he scored 9 goals from CB though, ideal for Solihoof Rugby Club’s tactics.

Pretty sure he scored a hat trick against us at their place.

I watched him for Chipstead in an FA Cup Prelim against Littlehampton Town. He looked a decent player. There was a 22 man brawl and he looked pretty decent in that, too.

It was actually their right back Warren Burrell who got the hat trick. Our defending from set pieces last season was beyond a joke.

He's looked the part in pre season by all accounts, we were desperate for a good left back so hopefully he fits the bill.

Great signing. Really good to hear Sarll saying a factor was knowing the fans have really taken to Myles, show he's listening to us unlike certain other managers.

Not sure he’ll be a starter but versatile players are really useful with only five subs. Also fairly sure that Ardley thinks Oxlade-Chamberlain is terrible, and we can’t trust Tootle’s fitness.

On the face of it, that's a bloody impressive signing. 6'4 centre back, long FL career, turned down a new deal at Mansfield at the end of last season.

That’s a incredible signing, like I mentioned in the L2 thread I fully expected him to either go to the SPL or L1 - I mean the competition at Mansfield would have been very difficult due to our best defence in the league but I’m disappointed he did not resign.

You’ve just signed someone who is easily good enough for a top 7 L2 side.

This would suggest you are being backed heavily again, which is a bit concerning all considered.
