I’ve tested positive for covid today and I feel like absolute death, if this is the milder of all the variants and also after being triple jabbed then I’m fucking pleased I never caught one of the more severe ones.
Sorry to hear that. Hope it doesn’t get any worse.

I didn't even see 'unshakeable desire to wind up Wrexham fans on an Internet forum' on the list of long covid symptoms. We find new things out about this pandemic every day don't we!
Football banter aside I wouldn't wish it on anyone, I managed to catch it 2 years ago just after Xmas. Not a lot was known about it then, at first the doctor thought pnuemonia. 6 months down the line she told me it was long covid. I was taking inhalers to walk downstairs in a morning. Some days I didn't move off the sofa as the aching and fatigue was shocking. Then you'd get days where you felt better and would do a bit only for it to kick back in 48 hours later. There were days when I would go to bed preying not to wake up the next morning, that's how much it fecked my health up. I've eventually just about got back to good health apart from my breathing , lungs are scarred so inhalers and medication are now a daily repuirement. So no, I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Not at all, I know I'm a wind up merchant and go beyond banter occasionally. I'm a lot better now ( apart from my lungs not being what they were). A few positives have come out of it with regards to work/ play, I've changed career and now work less hours.

Thats bloody rubbish mate, I've got a colleague who has had a similar journey after getting it in early 2020- she's had to move to a bungalow and all sorts and generally still.isnt right physically or mentally. I hope you continue to improve.

You're still a d***head, mind

Tested positive myself last Friday. Haven't felt too bad though...just an incredibly mild cough and sore throat together with the annoyance of isolating. Thankful that the jabs have probably protected me from the worst of it.

Don’t give Parmenter an excuse to curtail their season again
