Been on local radio that they are about to be ‘locked out’ of their training ground due to £20k unpaid bill

Glad they've been paid, but you just know the same thing will happen later this month.

Hope the players have built in a couple of week gap between getting paid and direct debits going out. Is it just players or all club staff?

All Club staff mate. They were paid on time in February, I thought things were on the way up, but evidently not!

And cooled right back down as Waddock has given up and decided to play players for sentiment only

You have Havant and Maidstone in your last two games. Yeah, you're terrible but it's not over yet. I think we could likely lose one of Ebbsfleet, Gateshead, Eastleigh or Coventry.

Their ex-Chairman (Stewart Donald, now owner of Sunderland) and dreamer of The Vision paid up for this year’s unsustainable bankrolled wages, but they’re going to have to let their big earners go in the summer.

I would say they are the least likely of those four to drop out, most likely they just release 90% of their squad, cobble something together on a massively reduced budget and then finish bottom 4. I think Donald paid up all the debt but I wouldn't rule out them resigning and dropping to step 3 if they don't forecast being able to afford the basics.

They've only kept hold of players with any sell-on value, and looks like the three whose contracts include a clause are the ones who decide whether they extend their contracts, not the club. Seeing their smarmy pinned tweet about their season tickets also points to the fact the club is run by c***. Hopefully they bum around in the relegation spots next season.

https://www.kentonline.co.uk/gravesend/sport/fleet-offer-free-transfers-204562/

The last six players on contract at Ebbsfleet will be allowed to leave the club for nothing this month.

Fleet have told clubs in League 1, League 2 and the National League that Ebou Adams, Nathan Ashmore, Jack King, Sean Shields, Corey Whitely and Lawrie Wilson are all available on a free transfer.

But manager Garry Hill says that offer only extends to the end of May

you'd think they might want to sell them instead of giving them away.
