How many teams have agreed to settle the tie on the day?
York v Alty will go to extra time & pens if level.
Saves Alty a possible mid week replay before they head to Pompey.
Didnt need ET in the end, another 1-0 win at York, thats 3 this year :woo:

Best team won just like in FA cup,we were awful first half.
You look a good team and hope you can take points off Chester,£penny and kings Lynn for us.
Glad we only half league to play for and hopefully beat in league game.

We didnt start well, loads of players missing for one reason or another but since cups began in mid Sept we have regained the form of last year, thats now 10 games unbeaten (7 away) and we have a load of home league games soon, if we keep playing this well, we will soon be back in the playoff zone. Portsmouth should be interesting next week,.. hope they underestimate us :£

Battled hard to a replay at Blyth yesterday in atrocious conditions. Comfortably second best first but defended bravely and coupled with Blyth squandering a few guilt edge chances with the normally reliable Robbie Dale blazing over and striking the post. Our injury ravaged side struggled to create but young academy product Harvey Grice took the chance when it came with a delightful lob over the keeper 8 minutes from time.

Have to say Callum Roberts of Blyth is way too good for this level.

But we are in hat and its On to Tuesday`s replay. A game we could really do without but by the same token we need the prize money. Given the weather forecast though I would be surprised if its on.

First game for James Rowe ends in a 2-0 defeat to BPA. Crossbar hit twice, Daly scored on his debut but was then chalked off and Hanks missed a penalty for the first time in 13 attempts I think.

We've lost 8 times in our last 9 in this competition.

All the teams we could get and we get Chesterfield. Not interested in the slightest now.

If Alfreton overcome Blyth tomorrow we will be away to Stockport County. Could have been worse. Will be a half decent gate and Billy has a good record against County

You have absolutely no sympathy from me. In Southport's entire history of FA Trophy draws we've been drawn at home 30 times and away 62 times. Getting drawn away a few times in one season is nothing compared to continuingly being shafted by rigged draws.

Anyway, away to either bankrolled South Shields (with Jason Gilchrist probably wanting to prove a point) or cup experts Stourbridge for us. Given the way we limped past Colne with an injury time goal after being 2-0 down I really don't fancy our chances at either of those two clubs.

Hopefully we give this competition the respect it deserves and we play the stiffs and kids at Harrogate.
It's alright, as soon as a proper club (Darlington) won the FA Trophy in 2011, it became a credible trophy to win.

We gave it the credibility going forward that allowed the likes of York City to then win it without being embarrassed.

As for our draw, Solihull Moors away.

Tinpot, merged, bankrolled, full time team - and this will be a massive step up in class for us. Jesus fucking christ.
