Dimi saves a pen then drops the ball twice at Harrogate players feet. He obviously hates the Trophy as much as everyone else.

Player injured Kings Lynn can't make a 4th sub as they've only named 3.
why don't injured players stay on & stay up front as they won't be offside?

What in gods name is wrong with you Poolies. I know most if not all ex league clubs can't be bothered with the FA trophy but this thing of letting slip a two goal lead is frankly getting ridiculous now.

Basically as Chief Rocka said

I'll add to that the only player in defensive positions we have who's good enough is Peter Kioso, the rest are utter bobbins. Keepers are also a problem.

A few players playing for their future with us. Complete reserve/youth team.

None of your players did you any favours today. Never felt like we had to get out of first gear. Could be a blessing for the league

Their descent into shiteness has been more rapid than most- they are now a decidedly non league outfit. :ds:

Harrogate v Hartlepool att: 803

FC Halifax v Wrexham att: 752

Just saying like.

Sums it up. Nobody cares about this competition. We’ve been there and done it when it was actually worth it. Glad we lost but 4-0 isn’t good.

Notice that Notts lost 1-0 at Chesterfield and Jim O'Brian went off with a bad injury after 20 mins in his 1st match back after months out. Notts fans how big a blow is that given you all seamed to be pinning your hopes on him coming back to improve your season? It looks in the reports that he could be out for several months rather than weeks.

I feel exactly the same, glad we went out but the manner in which we did is nothing short of abysmal.

Concentrate on the league, 16th place is ours this year.

Its a massive blow and he could now be out for another few months.
We won though?

When was it last considered good, do you reckon? It still felt important to us when we won it in 2010, but I don't think we've ever really tried in the Trophy since then.

IMO, the Trophy started losing importance for National League teams when the second promotion place and play-offs to the Football League was introduced in 2002/03.

Hmm, I dunno Soup. Now I don't know if your defenders/goalie are decent or not but blaming the side's (any football side for that matter) back line does seem to me to be the easiest way out. It's a also unfair in many cases, 'cos one is only pointing fingers at 4/5 players and forgetting that footy's a team sport.

Sure, could well be you need better CBs, fullbacks and a decent goalie but it could also be the other players out there on the pitch not doing their bit when the team's on the back foot. Like it was with the U's all throughout last season.
