I think it's completely justifiable when you're only two months into the season and not even in the play-off positions though.

Will be interesting to see if Birmingham fans are singing it in a couple of months time.
I doubt it. We will only ever have one song.

A few interesting things at the Fans Forum tonight, but the plans for the academy were the highlight. It's incredible anyway, but if planning permission is granted it will be among the Top 6 training facilities in Europe.

The big building will be a new indoor pitch, whilst the existing one will be converted to accomdate numerous things and become a four story building.

The picture below includes 5 additional full sized pitches to what we currently have. Two will be floodlit. Every pitch will have cameras installed with live feedback in some media room somewhere.

The pitch at the topwill have a stand and will host U21 games, taking them away from St Georges Park where we normally play.

They went in to much more detail as to exactly what is being added but I can't remember what they were. Apart from a giant sandpit which has already been added.

Please excuse my ignorance. Well done 'Boro and the Wendies for getting through against the 'bigger' boys.
Fair play boys, fair play!

I doubt it's better than ours. We might be shit on the pitch but our academy is of a state of the art standard within this country and Europe. To be honest it should be since we invested nearly every penny we made in the Premier League on our academy Compton Park.

Our chairman is apparently chucking more money at our academy and is sourcing the land for a new training ground, beautiful.

Maybe they played away a lot in the first quarter of the season? Their average attendance that year was c.45k so don't think you guys can have the record, or even be close.

Craig Forsyth out for the season having done his ACL on Tuesday. Hope we bring someone in, as we need someone a bit quicker than Warnock.

Warnock's got to step up to the plate consistently now, big shoes to fill.

Our striker, Bright Enobakhare hasn't been seen or heard from anyone at the club or his family since 11th November. Reports say he has fled to Nigeria for whatever reason...

So back down to 1 permanent striker at the club!

Hopefully he's alright. Sometimes it's easy to forget he's only a 17 year old kid, and has only lived in the UK for 2 years. With talk about the expectation for him at Wolves, added to the fact he was fined for missing training before he went awol I'm guessing the pressure has got to him.

It's possible he went to Birmingham where he found the streets paved with gold and has been seduced by the bright lights and whippets and is now running the 'Bright Metals Company (Best Prices Offered for Copper, Zinc, Nickel, Etc) Ltd'. With all that romance and a new railway station, he may never come back.

Strangely enough you may have been right about this. Apparently we've made contact with him, and he'll be coming back to training in the next few days. Has supposedly been around the local area all along. Embarrassing PR stunt from the club mind.

A few weeks ago it emerged that Mick McCarthy recorded a single (a duet with some Irish singer) back in 1991, today someone has finally dug up the audio. Enjoy.

Wolves fans have been saying since August that an inexperienced back four and the inability to replace Bakary Sako is a nightmare waiting to happen.
With Wolves having earned just 3 points out of the last 12 possible, having given Bolton their only victory this season and Bristol City one of their only three victories, and having drawn and failed to score against Championship pace-setters MK Dons, Kenny Jackett was asked by the local newspaper, the Black Country Scrap Metal Daily, what the reason was.

It's our inexperienced back four and the inability to replace Bakary Sako, apparently.

The cunning intelligence of managers, eh? Genius. I reckon people would pay a lot of money for Kenny Jackett's crystal ball. He may look like a lost hamster, but the man's perceptive. Why weren't Fulham touching him up when they were canoodling with Steve Clarke? Then he would have ended up managing an experienced centre-half again.

If I had to describe the lowest point of any season, for any fan of any club, it would be that moment when you suddenly realise that yours is the club opposition fans say "Yeh. Fancy our chances against them". It's that moment you realise that all the ambition, the cheerful talk of play-offs, promotion, "this will be our year", is just talk. It's the moment when you realise that everyone else is looking forward to playing you, when no one dreads you coming to town.

I just had that moment.

My low point came when Moxey said he and the board don't get the credit they deserve for rebuffing Norwich's bids for Afobe in the summer, but 5 minutes later said he won't rule out selling him in January :ffs:

It's a fucking joke, at least when we had Saunders and were shit I could boo and hate the prick, however the apathy of being 15th at best is a real killer.

Looks like planning permission is going to be refused as the Council have recommended it due to it being an "inappropriate development within the green belt."
