So then, who's realised the glaring omissions made from their best albums. 2 immediately spring to mind for me. Now That's What I Call Quite Good by The Housemartins and Some Friendly, the debut album by The Charlatans. No doubt there'll be more as well.

Death From Above 1979 - You're a Woman, I'm a Machine,
Arcade Fire - Funeral

...are two that spring to mind.

Just thought of another one too. A band that I doubt most people will have heard of as they only produced one album in 1981 but what an album it was.

They were a Scottish post-punk band called Scars and the album was called Author! Author! They split up soon after the release of the album but they did reunite for a brief period around 2010.

A glaring omission but not on my part, no siree! Paul H, where is one of my nominations - The Cure's Faith? And I had such high hopes it was going to win :ffs:

I'm only kidding Paul, it wouldn't have garnered more than a couple of votes at most.

Only just seen this. Really sorry. Once I'd realised PSB- Behaviour was a duplicate, I thought the number of albums was back to its proper number. I was wrong. Can't offer to provide a re-do for it but I can offer a sympathy vote for one of your albums.

Apologies once again.

The Cure - Faith.

I had expected someone else to nominate it so left it off my list in favour of albums I didn't think anyone else would be nominating.

No big deal Paul. Thanks for offering a sympathy vote, but if there's one thing I would appreciate more is if you could restrain yourself and not vote for Cyndi F Lauper? Hard I know, but you'll be doing me a big favour pal.

The Killers - Hot Fuss, one of my favourite albums through high school and college, used to listen to it on repeat for hours. Thankfully somebody else chose it but think it got knocked out.

Not a Pink Floyd fan at all, though I can just about stand Animals and Meddle, but was surprised nobody nominated Wish You Were Here. And I'm not sure about this but did no one nominate Never mind the Bollocks?

I also somehow managed to forget nominating The Notorious Byrd Brothers by The Byrds. One of the biggest influences on the indie/shoegazing bands of the late 80's /early 90's.
