We are now half way through the season with all the teams having played 23 or 24 games (apart from Dover who have played 22).
1) Name your team.
2) How would you rate your teams season so far? (Grade from A-F)
3) What are your hopes for the rest of the season?
4) Where do you think your team will finish?
5) Who is your best player so far?
6) Which other team has impressed you most?
7) IF not your team who do you think will win the league?

2) A-
3) Promotion
4) Top 2
5) Difficult one, but i'll say John Rooney
6) Chorley (seriously) - in the 1st half of the match at Barrow they were probably the best we have played this season.
7) IF not Barrow then probably Yeovil - IF they can keep hold of Rhys Murphy.

2) C-
3) Sneak into the the play offs with a strong second half to the season. If we can find any kind of consistency, who knows...
4) Top half
5) Peter Kioso just edging Gime Toure. Honourable mentions to Gus Mafuta and the improving Nicky Featherstone & Luke James.
6) I moved to Saudi a couple of months ago so not seen many games. Bromley & Fylde at home were decent.
7) God knows. Wide open.

Agree with all that Soup, been too inconsistent and especially poor at home, turn that around in the second half of the season with an addition or two and we might be onto something.

Bromley were easily the best team I've seen so far this season, Boreham Wood were also decent but a bit sus at the back.

4. IF we can manage to string a few wins together, I think we'll kick on and probably end up about 14-17th. But we seem completely incapable and shot of all confidence. I would take survival by the thinnest of margins right now
5. Nobody - maybe Omari Patrick on loan who scored a brace at Eastleigh last game and has looked a threat since joining
6. Not seen many games this season (exile) - nobody from the handful of matches I watched daaan saarf earlier this season
7. Yeovil

Agree with most of that, though I think maybe we'll drop a couple more places if injuries creep in. Rooney and Platt are about level for me.

Stockport impressed me the most - the only time in the games I've seen when I felt the opposition were superior (and that includes Harrogate scabbing a 3-0 win). Maybe Solihull would be most likely to finish 1st.

Agree with most of what's been said about ourselves.

I've only seen 5 games at home this season. Week on, week off shift system has caused me to miss most, and I'm in work for the Aldershot game as well. Chorley were probably the best I've seen.

I'd give us an A- so far, the poor start to the season the only thing from awarding full marks. I'm hopeful for a top 3 finish given the position we're currently in, we still have a relatively small squad which will need to maintain the level of performances for the rest of the season which may prove difficult if we get some long term injuries. Agree that Solihull should be favourites on paper.

This is the highest position within the pyramid I've ever seen us, and I expect it would be the case for the majority of our fanbase having been out the league since '72. We're enjoying being top, but I think feet are firmly on the ground. A lot of work to be done yet.

Keep forgetting we've still got Molyneux to come back, not kicked a ball all season, quality player, so now we seem to have a proper manager and our best player to come back we should be looking at the play... oh no wait, hang on, it's Pools we're talking about isn't it????

I forgot about Molyneux as well, love to see Molyneux/Toure in the same XI, such a shame that no talent soft shite McLaughlin had to job him in a pre season friendly, the c***.

1) Aldershot Town.
2) F-. Absolute sack of shit.
3) To stay up, that has to be the target now.
4) one place above the dead men, that’ll do me.
5) Mitch Walker, and he’s been bang average. The rest simply aren’t good enough for this league.
6) Yeovil when they played at ours were a cut above, but shite at home. Barrow Saturday will be interesting.
7) Two weeks ago I’d have said Yeovil, Saturday I may change my mind. No one really sticks out because we’ve been so crap.

Aye coming off the coach ideally.

Judging by the players reaction on Twitter when he left, could be one or two who'd fancy that. Don't like wishing injury on players but that 'tackle' on Molyneux was malicious so he deserves what he gets.

Think we've all been posting regularly all season - even when we were down the bottom with the likes of Fylde.

Jordan Williams is too good for this level when he's on a good spell - has he had his dip in form yet? How has Jameson fared?

6) Barrow. Direct, strong, did the niggly stuff well highly effective.
7) Really not sure. Harrogate are going well and have the money to strengthen after a slow start.

3) Some positive news on ground development; avoid relegation.( We should be O.K.,we have retained the FGR get-out-of-jail card.)
4) 18th.
5) Ethan Chislett. Proper footballer.
6) Yeovil, at our place. They were poor at Huish. No others have impressed.
7) Bromley. Love it to be Boreham Wood.,that would stir up the EFL.

what I would love to happen - but which is highly unlikely would be winning the league and winning it away at Halifax on Friday 10th April with 3 games of the season left. Nothing at all against Halifax though - but it would mean we got presented with the trophy at home against Chesterfield on the Monday - and whilst most Chesterfield fans like Evo and would give him a great reception it would really stick it to Allen assuming he is still the Chesterfield owner then... having to watch Chesterfield players giving Evo and the Barrow players a guard of honour as they walk out onto the pitch...

2. B. Great start to the season but we've dropped off as usual. Still, a great achievement considering we had no team or manager days before the season started
3. Would love a playoff spot. Tough but realistic.
4. Somewhere around midtable.
5. Michael Duckworth has been sensational. Cameron King a close second.
6. Yeovil best team I've seen at the Shay.
7. I want to back another underdog in Barrow but get a feeling Yeovil might do it

Surprisingly, nobody rates the only side that had never been out of the top 4 all season until last week. What's going on guys. :ds:

3) Inside the top 7 for the rest of the season.
4) With injuries and state of the pitch at Huish hindering any chance of playing football for the foreseeable future, I'd wager sliding down to mid-table given the current run of form. Optimism likely to return as soon as a result or two goes our way though.
5) Rhys Murphy hands down. Certainly more of a physical presence than the poacher, in the mould of Wright or Lineker, I had him down as.
6) Hard to look past Hartlepool who have battered us in both games so far. Barnet also looked handy against us in the opening game.
7) Barrow look by far and away the best team looking at the league table and recent form. But given a couple of injuries and likelihood of Evatt being snapped up by a league team, I'll go for a 'safe bet' in Solihull; big budget, experienced players and a style well suited to this level. People seem to have forgotten they started well and only lost form when they had an injury crisis up front. Now they're back and firing, it's not much of a surprise they've quietly worked their way back up the table.

3) Finish top half. Unlikely we'll get in the top 7 and we're well clear of the bottom 3. A run in the Trophy would be nice for once.
4) Mid table - probably 11th/12th. A couple of injuries would cripple us.
5) Jake Hyde is our leading goalscorer but probably Josh Casey at LB.
6) Notts County who became the best team in the history of the conference when they beat us 4-0 at Kingfield. Yeovil looked decent as well.
7) Yeovil or Solihull Motors. Probably Yeovil just.
