Stevenage unchanged, its almost as if they take this more seriously than a relegation fight.
We have 7 changes.

That is ridiculous. You would think that they would want to focus on the league?

I... I really dont know what formation we’re playing tonight. Might be a diamond with no attacking midfielder. Might be 3-5-2 with a midfielder and a winger at wing backs. Might be a 4-3-3 with a striker, centre back and midfielder out of position. Abandon hope all ye who enter here... unless you’re an away fan.

Newport are really tin pot as tonight’s game has been postponed due to frozen pitch.

We crashed out against Portsmouth but sounds like we played very well against a side in the league above, that and saturdays performances despite all of our injuries have got some positivity going around finally.

Nice to see Matt Jay getting on the score sheet. Think he deserves another contract and will come good for us in the end.

Would swap tonight's result for 3 points on Saturday but at least most of the side will be fresh with 7 changes and Bowman going off early, plus some positive news with Lee Holmes getting some time.

Ajose did himself the world of good by scoring a goal and setting up another. He’s pushing for a league start now and I hope he plays up at Swindon in a couple of weeks...

Nice to get through last night, I’m just shocked it wasn’t 1-0. Big chance of Wembley now but as Denzel says I’d sooner get league wins as that’s the priority

Pompey away in the semis. If we do manage to win it would be a very sparse Wembley in the final, so the powers that be will be praying for us to lose.
Pompey fans seem to be excited about this, no idea why as I would have thought the novelty would have worn off after last year

Pompey winner scored in the 6th minute of injury time. Ref should have just given them a few penalties instead.

Anyway pleased with the competitive run out for our reserves. Good experience for the lads.

Home to Stevenage. That's us into the Semis.
And I checked your score away at Pompey about 20 mins ago and you had just gone 2-1 up in the 89th minute so well played and I hope you enjoy your day at Wembley for the final.

Watched it and Exeter defended ok then went totally missing in injury time, first one their lads given an acre in the D and the other one their full back leaves their guy free for the switch with seconds to go. Decent effort but should of seen that out really.

We made 10 changes for this game, and Pompey only made 2. I was expecting a heavy loss. To be 2-1 up with 5 to go is heart breaking for the younger players, but they can hold their heads very high for almost doing it away to a decent league 1 outfit. Now we can concentrate on the league !!

Hope Pompey smash the Class of 92 vanity project.

The difference in attendance for each club will be absolutely absurd.

It’s almost like it’s fixed.

Two biggest sides last season. Now these pair.

Harvey wanking himself silly as we speak. As are Sky.

TFF sweepstake on how many they manage? Less than the Hamil road end holds I reckon with most wearing Man Utd shirts vs 35k+ Portsmouth. There was only 8k TOTAL at their play off final last year for christs sake.

Depends on which clubs are playing at home at the same time...

Not paid any attention to this farce but now Salford have got to the final our last home game of the season will have to be re-arranged which is irritating.

Particularly for me as on the last home game of the season at half-time they do a roll call of all the fans lost during the season and one of our colleagues we went to watch Swindon with for a number of seasons is included in this and I wanted to go to pay my respects, now potentially not possible.

Cry me a river etc but still, poxy tournament!

Its early April before Easter? Surely you have a home game either last game or the week before?

Just looked at the fixtures and you are correct. Not sure why I was told this was our last home game, its Orient at home on the 18th April! I should really delete my post but I'll leave it there for others to point and laugh!! :)
