When I say piss poor I mean to me personally. Not a fan of 'pretend indie' like The Enemy and most definitely not a fan of crappy POP Punk bands like the Offspring (in fact I think it's a sacrilege to have the words pop and punk next to each other.) I tried hard to get into Weezer, because Chino M of Deftones rates them a lot, buit I didn't have any success at all, though I have one of their albums (can't remember the title but it's the one with Tired of Sex)

That leaves IM and I don't like metal a lot, but I do know they were a huge influence on loads of up and coming bands at the time so I think they'll get my vote.

Smash isn't a pop punk album though. Certainly there later stuff is terrible but Smash is great.

Based on some of your selections so far i'd be surprised if you didn't like the Blue Album. Their new stuff on the whole is a bit shit but the debut album is brilliant. The album you have is their second one, Pinkerton, decent but not in my top 3 Weezer albums.
