Random one we’ve signed a left back called Deklan Wynne who has been playing in the US (though he is from NZ). Definitely one of the weakest areas of our team but strange to have left it this late to address it. Guess announcing it now means he might feature in the squad tonight.

Been at the club weeks, NZ International and had great assist stats but oddly signed for 5 games and not in the squad tonight!

He can yes as well as centre back (we used him right centre back in play off second leg and final and it was a master stroke)

He has had 3 managers with us and none of them fancied him, even Barton who signed him. We had high hopes when we saw you lads were gutted to lose him but it just didnt work out.
Not for the lack of effort, i just dont think the quality was there for L1... id kill for the slightest bit of effort at the moment though

Peter O'Rourke has linked us and Oxford linked to Dunfermline's left back Josh Edwards. Out of contract but they have an option. Barnsley had a bid rejected for him in January apparently.

Been a good player but I do feel he’s given a bit more praise due to him being an academy product. Don’t get me wrong, he’s had some excellent performances but we’ve got better in his position.

Nixon is reporting Manchester United have been working on a deal to sign Vale starlet Bailey Dipepa for a few weeks now so seems serious interest.

Scored another yesterday, in fact think he is our top scoring striker now from open play with three and two of those were very good solo efforts beating a few men.

Just signed a three year deal so should be some good money in it for us but if he goes I hope we try for a loan back next season. Would be a waste to see him disappear into the U23 system when he’s getting regular game time and L2 would surely pose more opportunities to develop with us.

Classy player is Reece Cole. As SF_ says, this seems like it’s a bit agent driven. Any midfielder who’s got an eye for goal and creates plenty is going to attract interest although I suspect he’ll still be with us next season.

Wouldn't be surprised if we are looking at Reece Cole, actually. He kind of fits the Rich Hughes acquisition profile. He's a bit of a latecomer but looks like he's sorted his life out a bit and is on an upward trajectory.

As Denzel said, the Jack Sparkes signing was a surprise and that worked out well. We signed Conor Shaughnessy from Burton to little fanfare last summer and he made League One team of the season.

May be agent talk but I wouldn't be at all shocked if we signed him in the summer.
