Nobody will ever top the A list superstar we had performing at Blundell Park against Tranmere in 2015:

Crewe could have those chav rappers do a huge concert at Gresty with their signature “Mean Streets of Crewe” song! Sadly appears banned on YouTube these days!

Artell would love it! It would be Triffic! And the drummer would be his favourite part as he just “wacks it!”

I don't think it got banned, I think they took it down due to embarrassment. I would love to watch it again, it's hilarious.

Strangely we’ve now been told David Worrall can play against Mansfield on Tuesday after we’ve queried why Lund was allowed to play!

As far as I understand, we made two appeals re the Worrall/Lund incident. The first was against Lund being sent off. The was rejected and a ban was enacted. Furthermore, the club was warned for failing to control their players in the incident. I believe Vale received similar. The second appeal was against Lund receiving a 4 game ban, even though it was his second red card ban. Not sure why, but his ban was then reduced to 3 games. He will miss the league games v FGR, Colchester and Grimsby. He played earlier in the week in the EFL Trophy, because it is a separate tournament. I believe that is how it works, but I will stand corrected.

It's all much of a do about nothing.

Does make you wonder the mentality of some people. Even in the bad old days I can’t really recall much in the way of racism at football personally.

Mind you, I was pissed much of the time.

Honestly, I hardly went to any game, home or away, without a bellyfull of ale. Away games had the objective of getting in a pub between 11-12. Dreadful really.

Older and wiser nowadays. Alcohol doesn’t agree with me very well these days.

Tomorrow will be my 12 consecutive visit to Oldhams Boundary Park, since my first visit back in 2004.

I've seen us win there a grand total of 2 times. :ohy:

I've said this for a long time now but I absolutely stand firm with my belief that every individual using a social media account, whether that be Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, SnapChat, whatever... should have to identify themselves with ID (similar to celebs getting blue ticks and such) so your identity is public knowledge for all to see. None of this hiding behind fake profiles to post absolute scumbag comments and views. I dare say the percentage of this occurring would reduce enormously if people knew they couldn't hide behind daft usernames or profiles anymore and would be held accountable for their actions immediately. Would make some of the idiots think twice, that's for sure.

Mate you don't need ID to vote so no way you should to access social media.

Well you do, technically. Just not photographic. You still have to provide your details to the electoral roll in order to be able to vote. However, I struggle to see the relevance of that anyway? It's a private vote which you have the complete freedom of keeping to yourself and to tell nobody. Using social media to attack, insult and character assassinate people is disgusting and you should be held accountable. Simple.

Exactly, two totally different things.

Our home Voodoo is back, we're flagging atm. Hopefully Frear will be available to help drag us over line.
Any ugly win, any old how would be most welcome.

Scunny have picked up a bit, so finely balanced. A real test of character today.
