We’ve signed Admiral Muskwe, 21 year old striker on loan from Leicester. Zimbabwean international no less!

Danny Mayor on the bench on Saturday and not in the squad at all tonight.

Rumours he’s off. Where though? Tranmere mentioned.

Wouldnt surprise me, he's a homebound kinda guy. Shame it hasnt worked out at Plymouth tho.

He’s apparently at HP tonight watching with the 3 other injured players. Think it’s a load of bollocks personally and he’s picked up a knock.

Apparently we have signed french winger Elliot Grandin. Previously played for Holloway at Blackpool.

Bowyer on Will Grigg link: "I like that song. Gala isn't it?"
Wouldn't comment on Kaiyne Woolery: "He's a Swindon player so I won't talk about him."

Looks likely that we're recalling Dylan Connolly from Bradford to sell him so we can get some transfer funds in before the window closes.

Not great news for us. He's full of energy and always gives it 100% but his end product is indifferent, despite being the fastest player I've seen at City.

I dare say he'd be more of a threat in an attack minded team but more importantly, it's another starter we're gonna have to replace now. And not with a loan as we're maxed out on those.

That's exactly what fans in Ireland told us before we signed him and the little we saw of him confirmed it. We don't play with wingers anyway so we're not bringing him back to play him. Lots of interest from MLS apparently so worth cashing him in.

Coughlan has told all our out of favour players to find new clubs before Fridays deadline. Mellis who is off to Swindon by the sounds of things, White who's had a few injuries this season all after coming back from a leg break last season.

Hopefully Craig Davies aswell but can't see anyone taking him on. What a waste he's been.

Paying money for a winger with no end product, why? Very likeable but surely a massive queue of better for a similar price. His pace, commitment, fantastic, but for all the fist pumping to the crowd I wouldn’t miss it for someone who could cross.

What kind of player is Mellis?

Looking at his Wiki it appears he can't really behave properly;

In March 2012, Mellis was sacked by Chelsea after he admitted setting off a smoke grenade and causing a full-scale evacuation at the club's Cobham Training Centre.

In April 2012, Mellis was arrested after a fight with his girlfriend at his Cobham, Surrey home. Both parties accepted police cautions for common assault.[60]

In August 2019 Mellis and Mansfield teammate Dion Donohue were suspended by the club for "an alleged serious breach of club discipline"

I think we're trying to sign both Mellis and Donohue!

Who's on the out of favour list at Mansfield?

Artell has said he's hopeful to get another deal completed by Friday so hopefully not the end of our transfer activity?

My guesses would be Mellis and White defintely. Then Khan, Davies and Sterling-James. Logan aswell but he's gone to FGR.

Lowe completely and utterly knocked that one on the head last night, saying he was not going anywhere. I believe him, especially as he did not add a Holloway flourish of poppycock!

Will Grigg turned Salford down. At last a footballer with enough in the bank to have a set of morals ?
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51298423
I doubt it has anything to do with morals. More, he knows he can do a job in L1 and he doesn't want to drop down to L2. Especially not for a mid-table Salford team who barring a miracle won't be making the play-offs this season.

Vaughan gone from Bradford to Tranmere as rumoured. Best hope Bowyer has a decent replacement lined up.

Embarrassing if you ask me, clearly had a disagreement with the manager. Hope he does well there and don't blame him one bit for wanting to leave. I would too if I was an attacker under this clown.

Doyle signed. Announcement tomorrow.

Strangely reported it’s only a 6 month deal. Can’t imagine we’d pay much for that.

He doesn’t want to play. Period.

Tbh, there’s not much knocking around in the striker department. Did this Doyle/Vaughan thing happen out of the blue? Seems daft if there’s nobody lined up.

Vaughan supposedly said it’s him or Bowyer and the club won’t back down to player power (unfortunately for us you could say), Doyle more self explanatory but seems neither were much liked in the dressing room. It does sound out of the blue and I agree that replacements look on the sparse side. Sums our season up well.
