We've definitely slipped under the radar. Impressive considering we were everyone's favourites to go down. The signings of Redshaw and Rodney and a change of formation has completely changed our season. The one slight issue which may undo us is an injury or two to key players. We are running with a very small squad currently and lack quality in depth.

Yeah, I put 'unbelievably' because it seems like you'd slipped away. I'm not sure you've beaten many of the top 7 teams though, so in my mind at least, Halifax still have to prove themselves as contenders.

Our squad is also weak beyond the first 12 or 13, so that's my worry too.

Entertaining game so far. Barrow had some good chances
Can we waste enough time & hold out?
Barrow team coach looks to have broken down, they might have to hitch a lift with the fans

Cal Roberts looks pretty useful, Fitzsimons played a blinder and we won quite convincingly.
Chesterfield looked poor, great long throws, Denton looked a handful but overall it looks like being a slog for the Spireites to get out of the mess . Hope they do but but they did look one of the poorer teams I've seen this season.

I loved what I saw from Roberts on first viewing. Very impressed, looked confident, positive, and a nice touch.

It's only his second game but I'm hoping his inclusion will free up Enzio to be more effective more often.

Thoroughly deserved win, silly needless penalty to give away from Brindley

Barrow have missed loads of chances but the ref has been itching to give them something

Interesting to see whether this will be a blip or a bad run. First defeat since October.

A run like the one following the last defeat would be nice!

Sounds like Dover had us worked out from the start. Our defence seemed to make a lot of errors and forwards couldn't put away some easy chances.

Had this one down as a win given Dover's home record - the only positive to be taken is that it was our "free hit".

Halifax definitely in with a chance. As are others due to the number of games left to play.

It's still very much Barrow's to lose but a 7 point lead can easily be blown away over 13 games.

It depends how Barrow do in the next three - Dagenham, Dover and Sutton. If they just shrug it off and go and take 7+ points then I think they’re just about there. If they have a little bit of a wobble there, it might make it a bit more interesting because then they’ve got a fairly tough run in with Notts, Halifax, Harrogate, Barnet and Yeovil still to play.

Even then though it’d take someone else winning 10 or 11 of the last 14, which no one really looks capable of doing.

We really ought to be kicking ourselves a bit, we’ve dropped 15 points against the bottom 8 alone.

I'd rather Barrow had won that game. They've won the league, that's for sure, and i'm more concerned that we'll drop out of the play offs as we've run out of steam. Losing Tilley and D"ath has completely crippled us so we'll be lucky to get 7th.

You could do us a favour by beating them, we've already doubled Halifax has you know, we have to play Barrow away, light the afterburners and we can over take Barrow.
