Ineffable art pop. Improvised, delicate and floating, with snippets of melody and groove slipping through your fingers, discarded back into the ether. Dubby, distorted and strange, but beautiful. Like a glimpse of Creg's face in a cloud.

Muse - Some catchy moments, like the bassline in Time is Running Out.
Tindersticks - Another one that probably needs a longer listen but I wasn't blown away by the little I heard.
Arthur Russell - Could have been fantastic if ole Arthur didn't sing.

The Addicts - Sing. Gospel record made by a bunch of ex/recovering drug addicts and alcoholics. If I ever make a film about the end of the world this is going to be the song that plays when the fire takes over -
