i like how our local paper has listed all of the FA Cup weekends also all the way through to the final, just in case we get there you know

Our fixture list also has all the FA Cup dates on, so I’m guessing they were included in the fixture release by the league

Happy with the boxing day/new year fixtures. Good to start at home. Got a big bank holiday weekend in August. Don't really understand why our game v boringham woods televised. Long trip back for them also an evening k/o. We could have had notts county or Hartlepool on TV surely? Easier to get to and from for both sides.

Weird. If we make it to the 4th round of the Tunnock's Caramel Wafer cup our game against Chesterfield will be moved.

August looks like an awkward set of fixtures on paper. All depends on how good Boreham Wood and Notts County actually are, but trips to Dover and Hartlepool always go one of two ways and then there’s the visit of Barnet too and surely they can’t be as bad this time around..

Assuming that the police have vetoed Notts vs Chesterfield over the festive period, makes no sense otherwise.

Maybe that's it. I'd have liked us to get Stockport over Chorley. But at least it isn't Barrow. Or Solihull as we sometimes have been lumped in with the Midlands clubs in the past.

They usually front load the fixtures. Probably initially borne out of frustration with Braintree postponing games due to a waterlogged pitch any time after August, but it's stuck.

And due to the Trophy. Coupled with our FA Cup run we would have had to play Thursdays last season if the fixtures hadn't been front loaded.

Really happy with our fixtures, at home first to a team we should be beating, Notts County first away game, shame it's on a Tuesday night but we have a good chance of getting at least a point there. Wrexham away end of August, Chesterfield away on a Friday night, Halifax away on New year's Day then a day in Blackpool just after Christmas for Fylde away and we finish at home to Wrexham. No complaints at all

Woking's first home game back in the National League is against us - that will test whether their organisation has improved.

Not a chance will they have our game with you on the same day as Forest v Birmingham. We've scrapped with Forest and Birmingham fans in the past.

Do you have to change kick offs for all home games that clash?
When would it change to? Tues, Fri, Sun?

We aren’t allowed to play at home on the same day as Forest full stop.

Generally we just take turns on who has to move their game, so either the Wrexham or Dover game will be moved to Friday night (we’ve tended to prefer that option) or Sunday.

Yeah can't complain too much, except for all the southern game, then again I'm sure all the South East Hatters will be delighted

Do trains run on New Year's? If so we've got the better deal over the festive period

I am amazed that they are having Wrexham v Stockport on last day of the season. that will guaranteed be the TV game if we have anything to play for, which Greater Manchester Police may be banking on

Well having seen our first 5 games, i’m afraid anything less than 15 points will be disappointing..

Dover H
Maidenhead A
Boreham Wood A
Woking H
Barnet A

so that means we’ll end up with about 3 pts, thus triggering my disappearance...
