We are absolutely shambolic. Chally has to go now. No way can he carry on after this.

Pavey is on fire! :ffs:

Wasn’t at the game but sounded as though we paid the price for our profligacy in front of goal.

Got to beat Woking on Saturday otherwise we might as well write this season off.

Take 20 passes to get into the final third, work the ball out wide, shank cross out of play, rinse and repeat.

It's the story of far too many games under Currie. Bromley no less interested in playing good football than us but so much faster on the attack.

Happy with that 2-0 victory after the equaliser and point on Saturday.

Mixed reports on how we played from friends and family, so match report from some Notts fans on here would be most appreciated.

Surprised Doyle didn't start, nor surprised Dennis scored.

Chorley potentially the most negative footballing team I’ve ever seen down at the Shay. Every man behind the ball deep in their own half. No intent to even counter.

Fair play to Chorley for getting what they wanted but there’s a reoccurring theme that we are struggling to score against teams coming to defend.

Took apart Boreham Wood to make it 7 wins in a row. Unbelievable how well we're playing at the moment, and with Dover struggling, you'd think we could get another 3 points on Saturday.

Didn't expect Quigley to do anything after seeing him in pre-season, but the man is clinical! Top scorer outright now (I think), and that Tshimanga for B'Wood was useless.

One of them where if you win you can just forget the game ever happened

Bit weird currently as I’d suggest we’re on our best run of results and worst run of performances

8 wins in the last 9 games for us now, ticking along very nicely.

3-1 winners against a good but physical Boreham Wood side. One of the best attacking sides we've played probably. Fyfield was lucky to stay on the pitch after the number of times he hauled Scott Quigley down, and the number 6 David Stephens must nearly be as fat as Nathan Ashmore, although Stephens had a good game and Ashmore made one worldie save to deny Josh Kay in 1st half injury time.
1st Goal was a Scott Quigley tap in after Dior Angus skinned the left back.
2nd was a Dior Angus shot from 20 yards that Ashmore could only get a hand to.
Marsh got one back from a corner and it was 2-1 at half time.
Tshimanga missed a good chance just after the break, but other than that they didn't create nearly enough when playing with the wind 2nd half.
Scott Quigley wrapped things up with 8 mins left and ensured win 7 from 7. Bring on Dover on Saturday :)

That was a depressing second half for us after we showed so much promise in the first half. Whereas in the first half we played the ball early, got numbers into the box and showed good movement, in the second we were ponderous, our forwards were isolated and we failed to turn the Bromley defence, who defended well as a unit and were well protected by their midfield.
Like opening a scabbed-up wound, Bromley discovered that we couldn’t defend set-pieces properly and exploited that weakness ruthlessly. They also moved the ball around more quickly when they attacked and look a decent side.

Pretty comfortable win for us, Woking couldn’t live with us in the 1st half. Arsed about a bit in the 2nd half and their goal was a cracker, but the damage had been done.

Dover should be automatically relegated for finding a way to concede 4 goals against us...

On a serious note, we were so much better tonight. Bettamer and Mullings worked well as a pair. I didnt see 4-0 coming!

Jeez. Chorley are boring. Can see why they’ve drawn so many 0-0. Like watching us under Fullarton.
Marcus Carver, a very good player, and that's about it. Very much still a Conference North side, they work hard and defend deep, but I can't see that being enough to keep them up. I'll be delighted to be proven wrong, as I hate being right all the time.

I thought Quigley looked knackered the last 20 mins, and suggested he needs to come off just before he got his second.

HOW on god’s earth are we only 9 points off the play offs after the horrendous start we have had... just shows that any team who can stay consistent to some extent from now until the end of the season can make those play offs.

I don’t think it’ll be us mind, despite our 3-1 win tonight we’re still absolutely awful and sheridan’s Not got a clue what his best team is... always at least 3 changes to the XI every week.

Notts were poor and we managed to be poorer, we lack a striker to trouble anyone who scores more than one against us. A big deal was made of our run of eleven unbeaten by all the management, club and owners but us fans knew it was a false position.

Taylor football bores me to death, normally I would do 15 odd away games a season, only 4 after this Saturday and not sure I’ll be seen away again until after Christmas.

The Matt Gray factor. Lovely bloke, good coach, never a manager though.

I thought you were alright. Showed us far too much respect up until we scored, but after that you started to press and caused us a few problems. Were similar to Fylde who we played recently and a few others in playing some neat stuff but lacking a final ball. I've been pretty surprised by how not-that-physical this league is all told.

We're starting to win games now largely because of the individual quality we've got, which I thought was bound to happen at some point. Being able to bring Kristian Dennis and Michael Doyle off the bench at this level is ridiculous.

I think our squad strength is starting to tell. We've two injured who would go straight into the starting 11, and a strong bench despite that.
We're hard to beat, physically a match for anyone and are capable of a few moments of class that decide games.
Keeper made a couple of very good saves when needed ,Dennis came off the bench to get the killer second.
Daggers looked effective going forwards and pretty decent, it took two good goals to beat them.

on the plus side though the win probably means Sheridan is safe for another month or so....
