Our captain Kevin Lokko stayed in hospital overnight but was released this morning and joined the rest of the team on the journey back this morning

So looks like we’ll be swapping Stevenage for Barrow next season, not a bad swap for us getting rid of a scumbag club full of shithouses and replacing with one who actually try and play football the right way.

Until Evatt leaves for Blackpool, and we revert to type.

Fuming at the prospect of this, we did not get ourselves relegated to have just one year off from going to fucking Stevenage.

Too bloody right, it was the only crumb of comfort when we left the football league.

Saw us get beat 6-1 at theirs the year we went down. Each goal was met with a warm ripple of applause like at the middle class Mecca of Wimbledon tennis. Don’t try and tell me there is no such thing as proper clubs.

Our dislike goes back to the late 90s when Graham Roberts was our manager. There had been some bad blood between us and then they acted like dickheads around the Newcastle FA Cup game. In the lead up to their replay Roberts sent a fax to Newcastle telling them to give Steveage a good beating, adding "We are not all arseholes in the Vauxhall Conference". The fax found its way to the Steveage dressing room before the game and Roberts got the sack.

It's no wonder we all call them Satanage.

yeah i read that on your forum - I think he had rose tinted glasses on - or beer goggles... you nearly stole a point when the shot hit the top of the bar, but if it wasn't for your goalie it could have been a heavy defeat.
The difference between the teams was that Barrow played against the wind better than Dover did against the wind - Barrow had more chances in the 1st 5 mins of the 2nd half (against the wind) than Dover did in the whole of the 1st half.

Do your mates on the Wrexham forum know about this?

I'm guessing that as Fylde don't even have their own forum that their fan (you) doesn't check forums of teams they've just played (or are playing next) then?

We ought to be looking forward at the possibility of playing them next season but they make for crap local rivals, we always travel in much better numbers to theirs than they do to ours and they’ve had bigger home crowds than us for many years.

Sadly, Chorley are gone, but if we can just get Chesterfield out of there and Dagenham in, that will be a mighty fine end to the season. #RealClubsRock. :bdick:

Stevenage coming down and Kings Lynn coming up from the north. Harrogate and Halifax look well placed to follow Barrow up too. Chorley, Fylde or Chesterfield most likely going down.

This league is ridiculously southern and by southern of couse I mean tinpot.

I want Wealdstone and Slough up from the South and Stevenage down. That means the Southern sides can all play each other in derbies rather than Maidenhead having to go to Notts or Solihull on Boxing Day.

How come everyone is talking about Stevenage coming down? Carlisle's relegation was confirmed in September according to their fans on Radio Cumbria.

These two sound like the worst teams to come up ever to be honest.

Wealdstone coming up will mean some interestingly tinpot 'beef' between us and them next season.
