Boreham Wood (5th) v Yeovil Town (4th)
Bromley (8th) v Wrexham (19th)
Chesterfield (21st) v Ebbsfleet United (22nd)
Chorley (24th) v Barnet (13th)
Dagenham & Redbridge (20th) v Solihull Moors (7th)
Dover Athletic (9th) v AFC Fylde (23rd)
Harrogate Town (2nd) v Eastleigh (16th)
Hartlepool United (12th) v Notts County (6th)
Maidenhead United (17th) v Aldershot Town (18th)
Torquay United (15th) v FC Halifax Town (3rd)
Woking (11th) v Stockport County (10th)
Sutton United (14th) v Barrow AFC (1st) (17:20 kick-off)

We are starting to really get into the nitty gritty part of the season where nothing is won yet - but plenty of teams can soon start looking towards next season unless they put a run together...

Biggest games are probably Boreham Wood v Yeovil and Chesterfield v Ebbsfleet.

Boreham Wood and Yeovil both have outside shots at the title, but realistic shots at finishing 2nd or 3rd which could be important come the play offs. But with only 9 points separating 3rd placed Halifax to 13th placed Barnet (who have games in hand on everyone) so neither can afford to lose this one. Yeovil supporters must be some of the most frustrated in the league at present as they are consistently inconsistent. I can't see Boreham Wood losing this one on the run they are on and a heavy defeat could put Yeovil outside the play off's for the 1st time in many a month. Home Win.

Chesterfield V Ebbsfleet;-
A Chesterfield win would potential put them 7 points above 3rd bottom and what should be the last relegation place. But a defeat would leave them only 1 place and one point above an Ebbsfleet team who are starting to pick up points particularly at home. Even the most optimistic Chesterfield fan won't be confident of 3 points the way the season's gone and a draw wouldn't be the worst result for them. 1-1 Draw.

Elsewhere Wrexham could pick up a surprise point at Bromley who are out of form, Chorley will beat Barnet (yes seriously...), whilst Harrogate should have an easy home win against Eastleigh. Notts will struggle to win at Hartlepool, whilst Halifax might have to settle for a draw at Torquay.

Generally we have done well recently against Hartlepool albeit in one or two divisions above. We have Doyle back which is a boost but still missing Thomas.
There could be a new striker coming in today or tomorrow and possibly another centre back. We will see.
I can see a draw again similar to last time out at the Lane 2-2

with 13 league games (and Trophy ones) left surely Doyle will end up with another red card soon?

We’ve won three in a row now at home which for us and our usual piss poor efforts at The Vic is pretty good.

We have to win this to keep any sort of pressure on the playoff teams, draws are no good, any idea how many you’re likely to bring?

I’m thinking 2-1 either way.

I can't see us getting anything from Boreham Wood. We're stuttering big time.

As with last Tuesday, we are virtually at full strength for the first time in 4 or 5 seasons - of those who would likely be in our match day squad, I can only think of Coulthirst, Taylor and Pavey who remain injured.

After losing at Solihull and the disappointment of the Harrogate abandonment, where we were well on top, we desperately need three points here.

Despite their league position and recent form, I would expect a very tough game but fingers crossed, McCallum will be able to fire us to a hard fought victory.

Hopefully we’ll bring about 400 to Pools. Would take a point.

I've never seen us live on TV, so I'm quite looking forward to it! We always win on TV too.

Sutton seem to have improved since the home fixture, where they were okay but had no forwards. People always fret about is playing on a plastic pitch, but I don't think that should hamper us too much.

I think it'll be 1-1.

I think it's 5 wins,2 draws & 1 defeat in out last eight home games.
Challinor has got the team nice & balanced now,.
We're a lot more solid in defence
& now create loads of chances.
Coupled with County's bang average away form,I'm confident of a win.

We lost at Barrow on tv and we lost at Sutton on tv so I agree, a draw.

The pitch was a major factor in us losing at Sutton. It's absolutely atrocious but we didn't deal with it at all. We lost at Barrow because we were shit and they weren't.

We have managed to bring in the defender so we are a better now at the back (well cover anyway). From today's paper it looks as though we might not get the striker through before the weekend as discussions are still ongoing.

We're 3-1-2 away from home, last six which is second best in the league atm apparently.

Our away record is bizarre - only won five but at the teams in 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th and 11th. And that last one (Woking) were about third when we won there.

Almost sounds like the recipe for getting arse whopped on Saturday.

One of the games we must be looking to wi . It’s that simple really. It would be very typical of us to lose though, especially after impressive results under Pemberton against Eastleigh, Wrexham and Sutton

We’ve certainly become harder to beat since our game at Holker Street in October. Still struggling a little in front of goal, not every opponent can be as generous as Woking. Despite the moans from Yeovil our pitch is great for teams who keep the ball on the surface and try to play.

I’d happily take a 1-1 draw. I’ll also be watching on the TV, as an exile a late kickoff is a pain to get home from

Looking forward to it. Should be a good game and atmosphere.

You feel we have to win it though to be considered a genuine challenger for the lower play off spots. We say this every week after we win a game and never follow it up. This time though, four points off, lose and it’ll be a good 6 or 7. Too much to do. I think it’ll be a draw, 1-1 or 2-2.

That’ll do me. Challinor has come out and said he watched us last week and we didn’t play well and he’s spotted loads of ways Hartlepool can hurt us. So I dunno if that will come back to bite him on the arse. Unsure if Michael Doyle will come back in to the XI or not, and if Alex Lacey is still missing at CB the new lad we signed from Wigan will come in for him for his first pro start. Other than that the team just about picks itself. Attacking wise we always have a goal in us, but we seem a little susceptible at the back right now for some reason.

What are Pools good/bad at?

Aldershot (and Boreham Wood, apparently )
Shots are at Maidenhead. Although weather forecast is good, it’s always a bog of a pitch, and the grass is long . So its “up and under” and dead ball tactics ,and our rickety defence can’t cope with that stuff. Plus we have no strikers. So we’ll probably win easily.....not. 3–0 Maidenhead.

Doyle will definitely come back in, just a case of whether it’s for JOB or Rose. Or the leftfield option of dropping Dennis and going 4-3-3.

Think we look a bit susceptible at the back because of all the changes. I’d be pretty confident in saying that Slocombe/Brindley/Rawinson/Lacey/McCrory is the best back line in the league, but with three potentially out injured there’s just no familiarity even though the replacements are solid players.

Give the ball to Callum Roberts would be my plan. How is Pools’ left back?

We haven't played in three weeks so we'll either be refreshed and full of energy or lethargic and rusty. My money's on the latter!

Fun fact, only won once away at former FL clubs. And that was Halifax, are they still the same club?

I rate our chances of winning tomorrow at slim to none.

Yes we haven't played for a few weeks but as point would be acceptable beforehand. Not the side that played so well up there but a couple of players are hopefully fit tomorrow.,
