Hopefully JJ Hooper can stay fit now, or rather, wants to stay fit.

Few massive games coming up against Maidenhead, Chorley (again) and Aldershot. Make or break.

Our home end was uncovered until 2000 and even then the supporters had to raise the money for the roof as the club couldn't (wouldn't?) pay for one. Buggered if we're going to pay for other fans to stay dry.

Yeah cheers for that, I poured about an inch of water out of my boots when I got home :bg:

I've not been paying attention to anything above 20th for a while. What's happened to Torquay?

Buggered if I know. We won 7 out of eight 8, followed with losing 8 out of 9! We had a lot of injuries but that doesn't explain the schoolboy defending.

Need to get in some experience at the back sharpish or we are headed back to the pub league!

6 was flattering to Torquay, as was 2. We missed the 2 best chances of the game, a 1 on 1 and an open goal from a yard. I wouldn’t even say we played particularly well, but we didn’t need to. Torquay’s defending was a shambles, there was a period in the 1st half when we had about 6 corners 1 after the other and it was comical.

As shite as we were against Chorely last Saturday Dover were head and shoulders above Bromley yesterday, who in the end reverted to punching our players off the ball,
we dominated the game from minute one, and it's funny reading that their fans wanted the game to be called off , although I feel we struck lucky that it stopped raining at half time, and lucky for them our away end has cover. As for the return game next week we wait to se what Dover team turn up and lets hope it don't rain as their place has no cover , Oh , there is no cover at Plebsfleet either so rain all week then !!!!

Shambles pretty much sums it up. I was happy to get away with only conceding the six in the end! The conditions probably helped us as if the ball was running better I'm sure you would have waltzed past our full backs several more times.

Keeping him fit isn’t the problem it’s keeping him arsed.
