Hugely important win at Fylde for us, especially with Barrow away on Saturday. Two games in hand on our nearest rivals and a better GD means we should make the play-offs, but you never know with Notts.

Harrogate, Harrogate, Yeovil, Boreham Wood, and ourselves should all cling on really, but that last place is really up for grabs.

Nah, except for Barra and Harrogate it's wide open down to 12th or so..postponed games are no advantage down here really, particularly if you have 24 of them, like Barnet.

Harrogate so good, they get 2 places, huh?

We are TERRIBLE! It's a shocking indictment of this league if we're the 3rd best team in it, but what the Hell, we'll take it.

That's a terrific win for Harrogate, I make them strong favourites to win the play offs. :ds:

Barrow & Harrogate have to play each other i think?
i expect BT & the league will want to keep the game near to the end of the season

We do have a lot of matches in hand but our run-in does look pretty tough and our pitch really needs the two week break it is now getting.

Agree. The teams vying for the play offs will be playing each other plenty between now & the end of the season, taking points of each other.
I think it'll go down to the last game of the season.

Very hard-earned, satisfying win last night. Sutton clearly came for a 0-0. They did every trick in the book but gave away a needless penalty and got what they deserved for their anti-football tactics.

Really important win last night, and finally one against a team at the bottom! Puts us back in a good position - our games in hand are Aldershot (H) and Torquay (A) which look winnable enough.

Yes, and nobody really knows when it can be played - looks like the only gap for both sides is before the last game of the season.

How many years is it since you guys dropped out of the league? Was it 1972?

Felt like a big win for us last night and another mail on Fyldes coffin, they look gone to me now.
We've got a strong squad which should help with the run in but I'm not convinced about our stand in keeper at all.
Would snap your hand off for a point against Barrow on Saturday.

We still have to play 7 of the teams above us. It’s entirely in our hands so if we can sustain any kind of decent form, we will make the top 7 and possibly even top 5.

That said, we have a run of consecutive away games coming up - Stockport, Woking & Yeovil. 4 points or less from those games and we could find ourselves cut adrift.

Finely poised.

Barrow escaped relegation a few years ago because of postponed games allowing them to climb out of the relegation zone at the expense of Woking.

Aye we were awarded a bonus point for every game in hand we had at the time.

You might have umpteen games in hand but at this stage of the season it can do more harm than good if you're playing Saturday Tuesday for the last 2 months.

Not sure how true that is - we had loads of games left, but barely won any of them. It was more due to Woking imploding around Christmas time when they had that PE teacher in charge.

Careful, Ebbsfleet are a bogey side and still never beaten Fylde.

You have to say though, on paper our run in isn't that hard at all.

True but we've gotta be putting these teams to the sword if we're serious about the playoffs, without looking we must have the easiest run in out of the lot, there's only FC Halifax above us to play, everyone else is mid table and 4 of them are the current bottom 5.

We'll probably get turned over by Ebbsfleet on Saturday now..

As it's Barrow v Notts this coming weekend I think I'll let Viking Magpie start that thread....

Might have had something to do with us only winning 3 of our last 26 games that season. And one of those was against relegated Guiseley who had played 3 games in the previous 6 days.

Oh and losing to Barrow home and away didn’t really help.

Fair play. It's a situation seen in most games at some point, it's just that usually the keeper holds on to the ball when objecting about it to the ref. He certainly won't do it again!
Not like Yeovil to cheat.... Agard wasn't it v us
