Colchester is an interesting one, i'd echo someone else and take a point. Keeps us in the hunt.
Don't think the 3 suspensions are as bad as it appears, Atkinson made a solid debut at RB earlier in the season and Bennet and Cullen have been picked ahead of Pope on numerous occasions.
Sit on the fence 1-1.
Though winds are up already and it's raining heavily in Newcastle at the moment.
I'll take a postponement and have it on a nice balmy April evening ( sorry Col U fans )

I can’t see our players faring well against the physical Newport cloggers, given the weather forecast looks dire it’s all the makings of a fun afternoon.

Will probably be in the bar the minute we go 1 down.

Do well to beat whatever time we left at last week

Fingers crossed its off, if not it will be anothet poor showing from a set of spineless c*** who know they're out in June.

Crawley away is a tough enough ask for our players as it is, but without Kayode as well as Mckirdy and Guy due to brutal thuggish challenges in the past week I think it’ll be too much to ask to take anything from there. I expect a comfortable Crawley victory. Just preying results go our way so we’re not dragged into the mess.

If the forecast is right, and considering how badly well their pitch seems to cope, there's a good chance our trip to the Macc Lads will either not go ahead or not make it to full time.

If it's going to be postponed, it would be nice to know as soon as possible please.

Wazull away for us, and after 2 defeats on the trot we desperately need a win. Looking forward to an early start and day drinking in Brum. 830 initial allocation sold out so should be a decent number.

Out of interest, what is the away allocation? I’ll be coming over for that game end of next month.

Very tough one tomorrow at Port Vale, completely depends which team turns up. If it's the team that blitzed Plymouth last weekend then I'd be hopeful we can take all three, if it's the team that went missing on Tuesday night then I expect we'll lose again.

Think a point is a decent result in isolation, but after the another night it feels as though we really could do with all three to be honest. Expect to be quite disappointed this time tomorrow.

For Wazull? We had 2,000+ there a couple of years ago

Either of these two things will happen tomorrow:

-Lose 3-0
-The game is called off as I step off my train at Cheltenham Spa station around lunchtime.

I just hope one of our players doesn’t end up being fed through a tube like that time we played Newport last season.

Or the 2 footed challenge on mellis last season.

We’ll need a strong referee to be aware of their underhand thuggery, hopefully we highlight the issue before the game.

What’s happening at Newport, I hear they have lots of injuries and only one keeper available. Is this true?

Every time I go to a game these days it seems to be massively windy!!
Likewise at The New Lawn...not sure whether that is down to our exposed location near the top of a hill or the vegan food on offer.

The first stage is always denial

Exactly it’s effective against us anyway.

An elbow there, a 2 footed challenge here, a player being fed through a tube after a challenge elsewhere.

If on, extremely different weather to when we played Exeter on the first day of the season and were very unlucky to lose (incredibly unfortunate late winner conceeded). Also going to be a very different starting 11 from us, at most 3 of the same players (3 had contracts terminated, 2 had loans ended, Harris to Wrexham and 2 likely injured).

Not overly hopeful of anything from this one...

I doubt we'll get anything from today, but a point would really help. Talk about rag tag and bob tail. Cooper will get it right again, but that's not likely to be anytime soon. A bit of tinkering is not going to do it. A new plan needed, that won't happen with the many waif and strays we've cobbled together recently. What ever the plan was, we're well and truly off piste...

By June we should be a little more organised.

I am thinking the 'Wind of Change' (or Storm Dennis) that is blowing through Grimsby Town will help us to beat an improving Morecambe. Our record against them isn't too great, but I am hoping that'll change too, starting today.

I think we're really going to piss Exeter off today. Not by winning, far from it - they'll be comfortably 2 or 3 nil up but pitch will be unplayable by half time and they'll have to come back on a tuesday night instead.

Soz.

That's quite a few times now that Carlisle coming to us means really shit weather.
Look out for the fixture next season and don't book anything important!
We might sneak a win here.
