If that’s the case, which it isn’t, then whoever negotiated the deal your end is a moron.

Let’s hope it’s the same person sorting it out now.

Do you seriously believe that? He is a professional who's street cred is currently sky high. His contract ends in June when he can take the highest offer, probably his final grand pay day. Do you seriously think he will mope about and allow his value to plummet or might he just work his socks to carry on showing why he should continue to be well paid?
Why is he going to start scoring for you? I saw how you play yesterday - he wouldn’t stand a chance. Balls lumped up to him is no good. Play him up with Vaughan, stop the lumping, weaken your defence with one less defender.

Why shouldn't he? You are so bemoaning your injuries, you missed that we had 4 automatic starters missing, one, probably our most influential midfielder. As players come back, we can play 2 wingers and still have a strong defence. We did play you earlier in the season and though the score was only 2-1, we actually wiped the floor with you(you must have had injuries).

I take it you didn’t attend the reverse fixture when we ran rings round your players, then?

I’d list the players we have out injured, but you’d still miss the point.

Don't get why Bradford would continue loaning out Doyle btw, makes no sense. Either recall him or get a big fee from Swindon, leaving him there on loan doesn't have many benefits.

Exactly! But apparently we’ve only been contributing £1,500 per week towards his wages and so far Swindon have paid him circa £91,000 in wages. Never heard so much nonsense in my life.

Yet here we stand top of the league - 6 points clear of 4th.

Jesus, your own local journo has said we’re paying the vast majority of his wages. But if that isn’t true you must have a right clown negotiating your end. Long may it last!

It's a marathon not a sprint. The table doesn't mean much at this point. See where you are at Easter before getting too excited.

Sure. I’d much rather not be top. Fool.

You don't wanna be the pace setters at this point, you wanna be that guy that stays just off the pace, and blows everyone away down the final straight. Like Mo Farah.

You mean like Lincoln last season, or Luton the season before that?

One other thing. When the loan was initially agreed, Bowyer said that by freeing up Doyle’s wages has enabled him to bring in 2 players in positions he wanted strengthening.

Are you telling me you are paying those 2 £750 per week.

Well done on winning the league in January. Sound like Leeds fans.

Always think the goalscoring chart should have the players real/parent club listed with the club scrounging them in brackets.

So the league 2 list should actually read:

1. Eoin Doyle Bradford (Swindon) 23
2. Jerry Yates Rotherham ( Swindon) 11

Aye, completely dismiss the fact that Sean Scannell (£8k p/w), Luca Colville left and Sam Hornby went out on-loan after Doyle.
