Chorley, Ebbsfleet and Chesterfield look doomed but whose going with them or can any of them turn it around? Us and Torquay seem in free fall.

With the table so tight you can look up to mid table to see who might be playing regional football next season. Going to be a long 4 months!

We are gone, that is for sure, unable o even get a point against a very poor Wrexham side at home. Would need an influx of 5 or 6 players to give us a chance and witn no money that ain't gonna happen.

We need 9 points to get to 50. Which we should do

But if Chorley beat us on sat the natives will be even angrier than they are now after recent showings

can Barrow, Yeovil and Bromley all be excused from this thread - might as well excuse Harrogate too...

I'm thankful the current bottom three are hopeless or we'd be a lot closer to the relegation places right now, we're an absolute middle of the road team, picking up wins against shite, but with a few more defeats we could find ourselves amongst the rammel.

Optimistically staying away for now.

Until about 30 mins ago i'd have said we were doomed. Takeover agreed and Sheridan sacks gives me some optimism but it might be a stretch for our awful players to keep us up

Still looking over our shoulders despite our recent form. Win on Saturday I’ll start feeling more comfortable about surviving

Nah, you're safe. I did watch a good 75 mins or so of your win over Yeovil and I didn't see a struggling side . Far from it actually as I reckon the play offs aren't out of reach.

If Macclesfield don't pull their fingers out its possible they drop and if not financially in decent shape the National League may refuse to take them in. Doubtful but possible that only two go down this season.

Maidenhead have started picking up points at home.
Hopefully will be safe but very capable of going on a shitty run.

Chesterfield have been thrown a life belt, I think, and will be safe. Based on what I have seen, and assuming no sudden cash injections, bottom 3 looks like Chorley, Ebbsfleet and Maidenhead. Here’s hoping, anyway...

Only Ebbsfleet and Chorley are going down, as Bury and Macc go pop.

I want to agree with you, but I feel we’re one bad result from falling back into our September and October form. Looking at the playoffs is a little too premature for that reason

Tbh, the sides who we beat on the road should go down. That means yourselves and Eastleigh can get the fook out of our league.

I think our home record will keep us up eventually, we will win enough games there. On the 'home' table we are 9th. The away table......24th even with the win yesterday. We will need just poor away form to stay up instead of the current diabolical form.

The rest of the teams down there are generally just as bad at home or away with the possible exceptions of Aldershot who are middle of the road at home and most bizarrely, Maidenhead who are one of the best teams away from home in the whole league.

Much depends on what we do transfer wise in the next few weeks, get some experience into the back line and we'll be fine as we have no problems scoring goals (only the top 3 have scored more). If we don't then we could be bang in trouble as we let them in for fun (nobody has conceded more than us).

He could do a fundraiser for us if the worst happens.
Although, having listened to his output I wouldn’t say he’s at JME’s, Giggs’ or Junior Spesh level, let alone Wiley’s!

Chesterfield won't go down. Don't rule us out yet, if there's a way to screw things up, we have an unerring knack of finding it. We built a reputation on it. :bdick:
