Nathan Peat, bloody hell that's a blast from the past.

Did Danny Hone take a pen? He used to be the own goal specialist in our old school team.

It's not even really the act of losing to North Ferriby, but to be 2-0 up with 75 gone and throw it away isn't good against any team.

Don't think he took a pen but he was rock solid, made a few crucial challenges.

Haha, brilliant.

It could have only been better if Jarman, as ex-Chester, had scored a winning penalty. Don't care though, watching Neil Ashton almost cry is consolation enough. :2thumb:

Could Robbie Savage be a contender to take over? That would be a good laugh.

I always said this was Wilkins free season, but even I have given up on him now. Keates is a ready made replacement and should be put into I'll end of the season

Congratulations though north ferriby. Great fight in them

Makes me feel better that we gave Gosport a real paddling last year.

WTF Wrexham? :conf:

Well done NFU. We collapsed at 2-0 up and it was embarrassing to see. I feel for the Wembley ground staff, having to clear all that shit off the pitch after our midfield and defence caked their shorts. Coughlin is a crap goalie, should have been sent off in my eyes too and we had no sub keeper either. We weren't playing great at 2-0 up but neither were they, we were comfortable and we were managing them easily until Coughlin has a brainwave. Their goalie was even worse and I can't believe we made him a hero, he couldn't even kick the ball properly.

Wilkin must receive his cards in the morning, we've just booed the team for most of extra time and booed off at the end. Keates should be put in temporary charge. At least Moult is signed up for next season, a different level to anyone on the pitch today.

Wow, where to start? When my mates from Wrexham asked me if I wanted to go, I didn't expect that game. Especially given how the first 75 mins had gone, looked like it was just going to drift away.

How Wrexham lost that is beyond me, it was tough standing there and knowing what to say to my mates really. No words.

Louis Moult's goal was excellent but for me the number 11 (St Juste?) was the standout player today. I thought he was superb.

Wilkin has to go for that, it's embarrassing frankly. Winning today would have glossed over what's been a shite season for them. But defeat just leaves him with no excuses.

Think I predicted an 8th place at the start of the season, was prepared to give him a season to ready us for a challenge next season. Well we are simply not progressing even though he's brought in better players. The old guard still look like they run the club, maybe we should ask them who they want.
