(York have automatically won the 'Brothers in the regions' title so congrats and see you next year).

No they haven't.

As Darlington FC DID NOT go bust (despite many trying to claim they did, either through ignorance or by just trying to be knobbers), it means that York City have competition in the "Brothers in the regions".

I think your own strange table should have its own thread and people can then comment on the one they believe to be true.
We don't deal in belief's here we deal in facts- there is only ONE Brotherhood, it is the one I founded, administer and make the rules for. There only 5 rules:

!. Members are those clubs who were in the Football League in 1986, in any guise
2. Membership is for all time.
3. No member may leave.
4. No new members may be admitted.
5. All members are equal- there is no hierarchy in the Brotherhood.

As you were.:ds:

Do you all just pretend Darlington 1883 didn't happen?

Relax Brother. There is no such designation as "Brothers in the regions". There is only ONE Brotherhood, both you, York, Chester and Hereford are all in it, and WILL CONTINUE to be in it until the end of time.

I am the sole authority in this matter, no Wrexham, Hartlepool Grimsby or whoever fan is empowered to make any changes to the 5 rules- see my post above.

Stand easy, Brother, :bdick:

Do you all just pretend Darlington 1883 didn't happen?

It was a playing name enforced by the FA who's new rule stated that we should be "treated as" a new club - not that we were a new club.

Did you all just pretend that we didn't off the playing creditors of Darlington FC in full, and did you all pretend that we didn't pay part of the other creditors, including your chairman Raj Singh?

Did you all just pretend that we didn't receive sell on clauses owed to Darlington FC for Dan Burn?

Had we gone bust, it actually would have been easier for us because we could have started with zero debt, but we carried that debt, of course, as we are the same club.

It would also be impossible for a phoenix club to receive transfer money for another club that no longer exists, and to be honest this last point is one that no one can get out of.

Darlington FC, same club since 1883, older than HUFC.

This tinpottery alone is exactly why Darlington will never be considered.

Plus they had to restart about 10 divisions down under a new name. New set of accounts, new company.

Access denied.

Darlington, Chester, Aldershot & Halifax have their own little reformed clubs league.

Should Newport ever be relegated, they'd be included as well.

Can't believe that you would turn on Darlo man!

All clubs that exit administration and then continue on as the same club have a new company owning them.

They all went bust and started again (not having a pop at them, just stating fact) and you forgot to include Maidstone. We never went bust.

Maidstone were only football league members for 3 years. Not having them in with you lot.

The Brotherhood was originally formed as a response to the sheer spite directed at former Football League clubs, who at that time were relatively few, by the Tin Potter community who liked to indulge the fantasy that their own clubs were in any way the equal of the Brother clubs. In recent times, some supporters of the more recently arrived former Football League clubs have more or less gone native and sided with the Tin Potters in this behaviour, against some of their Brother clubs.

Everyone knows who those fans are. I have therefore decided to introduce a new title for these individuals: Tin-Potter-Brother. Accordingly, they are no longer permitted to address me directly and should ask one of the regular Brothers to make their representations to me on their behalf

This title does not affect their club's status in the Brotherhood, which remains unchanged but it will reflect their individual, personal status among the community of Brothers.

Thanks for your attention. :bdick:.

You've got a pair of trainers pre dating 1883? Must be worth a fortune!

Anyway, as a Poolie, whatever misguided beliefs you hold about Darlington FC cannot be impartial and are therefore not credible.

Darlington 1883 was a temporary enforced name, which of course we binned as soon as we could. He may well have a pair of trainers pre dating the Darlington 1883 name change, but it just ain't relevant.

Stop arguing with them, Brother. I've got this. These guys are Tin-Potter-Brothers. Not worth your time. :ds:

Yeah you've got a point. They have illegitimately tried to take over the governance of the brotherhood and turned it into a banana republic.

Aww it's sweet seeing FC Halifax 2008 and Darlo 2012 have a little new club bromance together, bless.

I will just keep on referring anyone who claims us to be a new club to the Dan Burn transfer clauses owed to Darlington FC which was paid to us - and is conclusive and irrefutable proof that we are the same club.

So yeah, Dan Burn.

By the way, how's Radged doing? Any kneejerk reactions yet, or is he still quiet? Keep an eye on him!

One of his predecessors is still in prison for defrauding Pools and the one after declared himself bankrupt shortly after going AWOL from his position as chairman, so in comparison, yeah it's going well.

Established summat here then - the DAN BURN PHOENIX CLUB CLAUSE

This means if your reformed club gets a tenner from a historic transfer you are then still the same club even though everyone knows you're not.

to be honest B2TF's rules for brotherhood qualification are up to him as the so called "founder" - however his rules state that no team not in the league in 1986 can lose or gain membership.... so as Halifax were formed in 2008 they don't qualify - and even if they get back into the EFL they never will - so If anyone else does table updates - just abide by his rules and leave Halifax out of the table

Yawn, facts are facts "brother".

I once again refer you to the Dan Burn transfer clauses, which gained the (same) club thousands of pounds, some of which went into your current chairman's pocket as part of the ceditors deal struck with the administrators when we exited administration.
