Absolutely shite tonight. We are such a poor unimaginative team. So easy for Cheltenham to nullify us once they got their noses in front,

Logan's carrying the can for being brought in then sat behind a defence that keeps offering freebies to poachers. He's not half as bad as the recent goals against suggest.

We absaloutly battered Crawley for 70 off minutes then scored from a dubious penalty, then sat back and let Crawley pressure us for 10 mintues until they got a dubious pen and scored then continued to batter them again until Ports headed in a 90th minute winner.

Bring on Plymouth on Saturday MASSIVE game.

Huge win with Crewe, Exeter and Plymouth all winning. Still probably too early to say but looks like 3 from 4. The chasing pack seem a bit too inconsistent to mount a charge. Crewe\Plymouth drawing on Saturday with us beating Scunthorpe would be lovely.

That second half was an absolute shocker. Three well-taken goals from Vernam, but we've made him look like Messi for the third goal by standing off him like statues and sticking the occasional half-hearted leg out - completely embarrassing defending. It's like watching Walking Football for the over 50s.

Very true. Our defence is the gift that keeps on giving, all 3 goals were laughable today (pen was soft but needless). Nothing Logan could do about any of them.

Confidence is utterly shot at the minute.

Cooper going to come under any pressure you reckon? Seemed to show the hallmarks for much of that game of a team going through the motions.

Should be a great game against Colchester on Saturday. Manny came on for 15 minutes or so tonight and played very well, I'd still stick with easing him in and increasing his minutes on the field each time but that was very encouraging for us. Just as well we extended Will Atkinson until the end of the season now we are without both Mitch and Gibbons for the next game.

You would think so. Hard to tell with Vince, but surely no one can be happy with our current form.

Just like to add, thought Vale looked good. Well organised, moved the ball well and clinically punished us. Ref made it a bit of a farce but you thoroughly deserved to win it. Can see you making the playoffs.

Thought that myself. Was a good goal but I’d have been seething had we conceded that.

First time we’ve scored 3 away from home since August.

You wouldn't have thought we'd had such a good defensive record watching that tonight! The only other team to put three past us this season was Manchester United.

That Port Vale game really makes me question the stupidity of some players at this level. At 3-1 up, why is that player flying into a tackle like that? It's a shocking tackle. Why is Pope then fouling a player and screaming at him while on a booking?

I see it with us most weeks, our players fly into tackles when a player is going absolutely nowhere.

Agree with that, can’t see much wrong with either decision.

With regards to the Crewe game, that first penalty was bloody soft!

Just happy to get the win by any means necessary. Porter starts for the first time in 2 months and scores 2. Dale with a lovely assist on the winner. Looking forward to watching it back later.

Bonus of all this means that whilst it is still important we try and get something on Saturday, should we not, we'll stay in the top 3.

Oh for sure, but got no sympathy when the guy goes sliding in like that and doesn't win the ball. We barely pull that kind of stuff though, this is only our 2nd penalty this season. Lesson here is stay on your feet.

I liked the way one of them kindly moved out of the way for him to go past too. Also maybe I’m being a bit harsh but it appeared your keeper really should’ve saved at least 2 of them and possibly all 3.

2 Northampton stewards got ejected last night! 1 threw a punch at one of our fans after we scored and got hauled out for his own safety I think.

Still furious about Kettle and thats with having taken 3 points home, hackles are properly up. 28 fucking fouls given, what the fuck. If his fantasy added on time produced an equaliser I dread to think what would have happened. Any wonder the CŪNT had to get a steward escort off the pitch.

Clarke is a stupid, stupid boy. Why do that!?!? It wasn't a penalty for them and Brown was unlucky not to keep it out, just too much power on it. Nosferatu at RB for you should have buried it from four yards out second half but incredibly somehow skied it, we got away with that particular chance. Pope's two bookings were braindead, but the second one I can understand from the passion and frustration of a cheating little rat diving and Kettle the CŪNT handing it to them on a plate yet again but you can't react like that in front of Kettle the CŪNT and a 34 year old experienced player should know better.

FGR fans - try to justify your #14s very abrupt change in behaviour when sat on the deck when he realised there was a chance it wasn't just a fk and Pope was being called over. Go. I'm embarrassed for you having watched that. If a Vale player play acted in that manner I'd seriously hope Askey or the squad would fine them and Askey would mention it in the local press.

Your PA guy needs his gob sewing together. Let's get ready to rumble style screeching down the speakers in a village green with 1200 home fans. Painful.
So Kettle had a good game then?

Mummy, mummy, my notorious short fuse low self control idol is the real victim of his own pointless foul and tirade of abuse :D

Ah right, you condone simulation and play acting then. Says a lot.

Suppose you've got to do what you have to do from a home team perspective to liven up the childrens hospice atmosphere.
Of a piece with your sad act "comedy" persona, great away win but you're straight home to whine and play the victim. Suppose you have to do that to live up the empty shell of a life.

I was watching the stream and my kids like to keep an eye on FlashScore to see if any goals go in (streams usually a little behind). It came up saying 3-3 and I assumed that they’d scored from the free kick Pope “gave away”. I left the room. Seconds later my eldest came running to tell me it was still 3-2 and we had won!

Also, Sub 1500 home fans in the Football League should trigger automatic relegation and lifetime expulsion. Proper tinpot.

Our home form is terrible, fan base is divided with quite a few staying away and on top of that we're a small club anyway. We're hardly the first ever club at this level to get around 1400 home fans on a Tuesday night tbf.

Kettle was actually trending on twitter last night which shows how furious our fans were with him! Took away from an excellent away win.
