Twitter updates + ting

Didn't want to make a whole thread about this, but whatever: 1FF Hivemind, what's the best way of getting live scores from your league of choice on a match day?

I've been following individual clubs' Twitter accounts for a few years now, but am finding I'm using up to half a month's data for 90 minutes of that sort of coverage thanks to the likes of Park Avenue using a lavish 5MB graphic to notify everyone that their third choice right back has been yellow carded. Would much prefer to follow a Vidiprinter-style account by this point. Since I'm thick and incapable of googling, does anyone have suggestions?

Depends on how up to date you want updates? I follow FootballWebPages' Conny Sarf Twitter and they put up the Half Time and Full Time scores. Believe the North one updates in a similar fashion - https://twitter.com/FWPNationalNrth

I believe there's an app called FlashScores (that rings a bell) which is a vidiprinter type service. Others on here use it so will be able to offer more guidance and how much data it takes up.

I've never come across one and I doubt there will be one with all the apps about.

This season I've used Futbol24 and it's the quickest live scores app I've come across and it highlights any different scores from the last time you checked so you don't have to remember what the scores were last time you did.

EDIT - You could use Flashscores and put alerts on for Conference games (I'm guessing you'll have to select each match individually every matchday) so it'll pop up on your lock screen like a vidi-printer thing.

Futbol24, livescore, flashscores all do the trick. I also use http://www.livefootball.com/football/england/blue-square-premier/

Flash scores and FWP are very god but if you want to stick to Twitter I would highly recommend National North Live (@NatNorthLLT) Collates all the goals from the individual twitter accounts for you and shows you an instant up to date table at HT and FT. Has a page running for all leagues too. Very useful.

A late thanks to all. Currently doing DSL's recommendation of @NatNorthLLT but find it doesn't do everything I'd want it to for the cup games. Allus hard to strike a balance without having to wait for Sunday's NLP or being inundated with info I don't need. Will be sure to try them all out at some point or another, so cheers!
